Did the Ski Lodge Room. Had the first clue worked out within 10 minutes, and then spent the next 30 minutes trying to figure out why the locks were not working. Even after we confirmed that we had the correct combination with the front desk, we were unable to open the lock. Would not go back.

EDIT: I have changed this to a two star review because the front desk did call me back within 30 minutes of me leaving the facility to apologize and offer a refund. Good customer service is worth a star.

We were in Flagstaff for Thanksgiving and took friends of ours that had never been to an escape room before. We had a blast!! The room was challenging, but wasn't too hard where it made it more work than fun. The staff was AWESOME, even allowing us to change our appointment time at the last minute. The room was incredibly well designed and we look forward to trying the other rooms available.

We were honestly very disappointed with our room (we did the ski lodge). The very first clue relied on looking at pictures that were literally so blurry that you couldn't see what was in the picture. We understood the clue just fine, it was just a very bad prop. We are experienced "escapers" and it was frustrating because it didn't matter how smart you were or how much experience you had, you just have to guess at numbers because the pictures were blurry.

Second, the room wasn't reset correctly and it caused us to have the wrong clues at the wrong time, so it was literally impossible to continue. After 10 minutes of being confused the staff had to give us the answer because the clues were in the wrong locked boxes.

Another weird thing was that the room was very dusty, especially the floor. Kinda weird, like it hadn't been used in a long time.

Finally after we had finished we tried to explain the problems to the staff but it was just 3 kids running the place and they had no idea how to respond to us.

We felt like it was a brand new puzzle room, or maybe that it hadn't been used in a long time. It was like we were the guinea pigs testing it out. I would suggest avoiding this location until they fix their issues.

I had an excellent experience at Flagstaff Escape Space! Each room is uniquely designed by the owners themselves which is awesome! This is a great activity for all groups, it brings out the fun and competitiveness in everyone. Great team building activity. I can't wait to try the other rooms out!

This place is awesome!!! Great quality rooms! They were so detailed and they were very challenging. We signed up for the jail break room which was crazy hard but soooo much fun I would totally recommend even if you can’t make it out. We didn’t and had so much fun we decided to do another room. We did the saloon room also which was awesome!!! You get unlimited hints but they make you wait at least ten min to try and work together. Great for team building. Our team, karly and Brooke, were outstanding and so helpful! They walked us through the rooms when we didn’t get it and answered all questions we had. This was my first experience and it was a great one thanks t this place and these ladies!

This was our first time doing an escape room. Took our family of 5, my wife and I and our son's 10, 11 and 16. We did the Polar Express themed room. We all had a blast. They were easy on us as we needed some clues but they gave us just help that we still had to figure out the clues. Would totally recommend for a fun family night out.

Excellent concept. The owners are great and have put so much effort into this escape room experience. I did the Avalanche Room with my mom, brother and sister in-law. We barely made it out. It is full of surprises and I can't wait to try the Trophy Quest!
