I've been going here for an entire half of my life and have been to game shops all over Colorado Springs and have yet to find a shop nearly as good as Game City. Insane selection of domestic games as well as imports. CJ is crazy knowledgeable and will always have a recommendation for something you may never have heard of but is right up your alley.

I had gone to Best Buy and Walmart to find an old part for an Xbox controller that Microsoft doesn’t make anymore. Neither of them had it. However, my friends and I used to come here all the time in high school and I happened to remember it. Within seconds the person working there was able to find the part. This place is still just as awesome as I remember it.

This is my favorite retro game store in Colorado. They have almost everything. Genuinely. And it's clear that there's so much love and attention going into it.

Games and consoles are being preserved and restored with the balance and care of people who know what's important to the people who really love games and the knowledge base is off-the-charts. You get 85% of the retro con experience in one compact store.

It's a gem. A hidden gem. And it's so good that I struggle telling you how good it is because I like having my pick of the playfield. A little more expensive than ebay collecting, sure, but if it's on the shelf in this store, it's exactly what they say it is. You can't get that guarantee online. To physically hold while you're choosing which new toy you're going to scamper off with is the exhilarating side of collecting.

Don't go here because you want a "great deal" or like you're sneaking off with some diamond in the rough. Go here because you enjoy this. Fill your soul.

They may not have everything, but they definitely have at least something you might want. This store is phenomenal! Got a Wii U for a great price and they were super helpful with various other things. They don't do console repair, but they will at least try to help you figure out what's wrong. My PlayStation 2 had an issue with a certain game, and they showed me what was wrong and cleaned the game disc for me as well. Very knowledgeable and nice people, as well as very pleasant to talk with.

Overall, I absolutely recommend this place to any video game enthusiast! Despite the small size of the store, they have a very, very nice selection and even if you're there to browse and don't end up purchasing anything, it's just a nice place to check out.

Lots of options for so many game systems. Got games for our atari 2600 and wii systems. Employee was very helpful and knowledgeable. They buy and sell all sorts of electronic games and accessories. Worth the extra distance to go to Monument, but call to see if they have what you want if you need something specific!

Loved the vibe and the selection of classic games. The only problem was its size. It felt as if there wasn't enough room for each console/ collection to have there own space (but maybe if this place gets more business they can upgrade). I really liked the fact that they would fire up any game I should interest in, which made me that much more confident in my purchases. I should probably also mention how reasonable the prices were.

I have been going here for around 12 years and they are always very helpful and are willing to take some time and answer your questions. Never pushy or make you feel like you are bugging them. They knowledge of new and old games is staggering. I absolutely will go out of my way to get a new game here as apposed to a big box store. Their list of older game is also very impressive.
