This place is great. So clean and bright. The people working there are the best out of all the stores that I frequent. Also, their Lorcana community is great. Just Stu is cool AF and very knowledgeable, Alex is great and super friendly even when he looks like he is not friendly and cool and last but not least Ana, what a wonderful person. Great team.

Fantastic gem of a spot to play board games with friends or make new ones. Everyone is super friendly from the staff to other players. Tons of games in their game library that you can use during the open play sessions with some of the sessions being free depending on the day. Check the calendar on their website for details.

I am so lucky to have walked by Gamelandia. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and the owner. If you or anyone you know, including children, love playing games, this is the place for you. It's hard to imagine that a small space can have all the games and books that they have. Please shop here to keep them around. I haven't even mentioned their game rooms and all of the game events that they host. I would give this store 10 stars if I could. This store is not to be missed.

My son has been attending their dungeons and dragons campaigns for about a year. He is now in their advanced D&D class/campaign. All of the staff have always been very kind, patient, and helpful. My son has always enjoyed his campaigns and says the DMs are awesome. They have an amazing selection of board games and D&D resources too.

One of the "friendliest" places to play magic. A bit pricy compared to other spots but it is downtown palo alto. Also the guys there are also from that area, so expect "tech" talk. The play room is loud so if that's a concern, I just went outside in between rounds for some quiet time

I attended a Magic event at Gamelandia, and forgot my deck box before leaving. I was pretty distraught, because the contents were both valuable and important to me.

Luckily for me, someone at the event or a staff member found and took the box to the Lost and Found. Again, I was very lucky. This is not the outcome I was expecting.

I want to stress that many people who came across this box would have simply taken it for themselves. I'm leaving this 5-star rating because the staff at Gamelandia has cultivated a welcoming, honest, and honorable community who didn't do that.

Big props to both the staff and attendees at the event, I really can't thank you enough.

Great staff, super nice, organized space and really cool game rooms where you can play with your friends. We got a room for 6 people for around $10/person for 2 hours. It may change later I’m not sure. Owners are really nice. There is free hot chocolate if you want and some free snacks too. We played Catan adn Sequence and chatted with the owners. Fun place to spend time with friends and play your favorite board games. They have it all!
