Get A Clu Escape Rooms Robbery and Barber Shop - Metamora, Indiana

We had a great time doing the Escape Room today! There are two rooms to choose from, the barbershop and the cobbler shop. We chose the barbershop. You have one hour to solve the clues and get out. You can get three hints from the hostess. After we were locked in the room, I asked the hostess, Lacey, if they ever have a situation where people don't solve all the clues in an hour and don't get out. She said that we had chosen the harder of the two rooms and that a lot of times people don't get out in an hour from that room. So we had a fun time looking for clues and we got out in 27 minutes! She said that was the fastest time ever. The only thing I didn't like was the dirty carpet. My family thought it was dirty for the atmosphere. We will go back again and do the cobbler shop. The charge was $25 per person and it was worth it in my opinion. I did it with my son who is 21. Only later in the day did he tell us that he had a migraine and I think he didn't tell us earlier so that he wouldn't spoil my fun, so kudos to him! You can get an antique picture taken at this location, also. We took a wedding picture, and it turned out great!

We have the Get Out Pass, which has many great attractions on it. We have been to various escape rooms around Indiana and the deal for all is that each pass gets in free and you have to have a minimum of four in your group. We drove from Indy after making a reservation through texting with the staff. When we got there, the staff member said that the agreement that they have with Get Out Pass is to get one free pass for each group of four. We have a family of eight. That means that we would only get two free out of eight. This was obviously interpreted wrong. As I stated earlier, we’ve been to other escape rooms and used this pass the way it was intended to be used. We came from Indy just for this and we are now unable to do the family active we planned on. I hope that Get a Clu can either get off the Get Out Pass list or interpret the deal correctly.

This was an incredible experience!! It was SUCH a cool theme to do doc holiday!! So cool with the puzzles we had to go through.

The best part were the girls helping us!! They were so great at giving clues and absolutely hilarious. Made the experience amazing!! Thank you girls!! I wanna do the barbershop with them next time!!

We chose the Get-a-Clu as part of our first company Christmas Party, and we were NOT disappointed! Cathy customized the plot so that we each played a role, putting us right in the mystery we were to solve. In addition, she was in the room with us, filling in the historical details upon which the mystery was based, and giving us little hints as needed. We had a blast the entire time, and I think she did too! We finished with less than five minutes to spare! We will definitely be back!

Hands down the best escape room, I have ever been to. I had so much fun and loved how decorated the room was. There was so much detail put into this room and i felt like I as in the game clue. I would highly recommend anyone to come here for a fun family event!

Game facilitators Cathy and Bleau were stellar. Our two families did the bank robber escape room at 12. Took a break to snack and check out the rest of the town: Metamora Indiana. Then, our group did the murder mystery room which is actually on the 2nd floor og Metamora's only 3 story building. This is not your typical escape room experience. Your game facilitator is with you at all times in the room. It is interesting to note that both escape rooms here are actually based on history in Metamora, Indiana. Our group of 7 was aged 9 to 53 and all participants were engaged and had fun. These rooms were set up to engage and entertain families. I would highly reccomend.

Wonderful and fun time at Get A Clue Escape Room in Metamora! Enjoyed the “Bank Robbery “ and will come back for the “Barbershop”! Right on the canal!!
