Me gustaría darles las 5 estrellas pero en realidad no sería justo primero el baño estaba muy sucio,segundo las personas no respetan su turno y no hay ningún trabajador vigilando eso que sería lo justo,3 los profesores no están capacitados para niños con condiciones específicamente autismo yo como mamá de un niño con autismo es muy importante que mi hijo socialize,aprenda y se divierta pero si no están capacitados para niños con alguna discapacidad no creo que yo como madre me sienta tranquila sabiendo que mi hijo tiene una crisis y los profesores no entiendan que pasa ,4 si me acerco a un profesor el primer día de clase de mi hijo y lo primero que hago es anticiparle que mi hijo tiene autismo esa persona debería ser el profesor de mi hijo todos los viernes,porque si estuvieran capacitados para niños con condiciones deberían saber que los niños con autismo no se van así no más con cualquier persona lo racional hubiera sido dejarle el profesor que le tocó la primera clase así mi hijo no se sentiría incómodo y disfrutaría su clase

Goldfish Gowanus is very clean and organized! They have a check in center, everyone is friendly and there are multiple people watching your child to make sure they are safe! They offer snacks for kids and light refreshments for adults! There is a play area while the parents wait and the changing rooms are spacious! My sons was very afraid of the water and his instructor Aaliyah was kind, attentive and willing to take her time with him. She got him to put his face under the water and he has built up his confidence! Thanks goldfish!

We love Goldfish! My daughter looks forward to her classes each week. Her swimming skills have improved immensely since she started. She is now a confident swimmer. The facility is clean and well organized. The heated pool is an excellent bonus in the winter. My daughter LOVES working with Eliza her current teacher, and teacher for many different levels. She also felt really confident with Jacob too. All of the instructors are kind, encouraging, and attentive too. I highly recommend Goldfish to neighbors and her classmates.

This review is about an incident with their 5 minute bathroom rule.

I had been in the bathroom for over 5 minutes (it happens) with my toddler. As we were leaving, a staff member stopped us and informed us of the rules regarding what we could and couldn't do in the bathroom.

A bit more discretion from staff would have been appreciated in this moment. It was embarrassing to have everyone within earshot turn to look at us in the doorway of the restroom and it made me feel uncomfortable. I did hope there would be some flexibility and understanding that the 5 minute rule might not always be practical for every family, all of the time, as with us. A little empathy could have gone a long way here. No one wants to be in the bathroom longer then neccessary and we move as quicky as possible to be as close to 5 minutes as we can. To avoid escalating the situation, I spoke privately with the manager to address my concerns.

While I do recognize that bathrooms are high traffic areas, and need to be kept available to everyone. Other restrooms were available and unoccupied as we were being reprimanded. The interaction was an overstep of boundaries, uncalled for and an overreaction from staff.

Bathroom visits are personal, and feeling monitored and approached about policies after more then 5 minutes of use when you need more time is troubling.

Small class sizes, trained instructors and friendly families. We’ve been here for 3+ years and really enjoy it. The little one is basically a fish.
