Great store for buying trading cards singles packs, boxes, and bundles. You can also get varied board games, from the classics to the niche.

First time visitor there. Bright and clean. Had a tournament going on which was lively. I was there with another group. Clean displays. Only issue is parking, tough to find but that's Chicago. Very nice neighborhood with DePaul just steps away.

Great place to play Pokemon and probably other card games.

They have a wonderful community on discord with lots of events in different formats including standard, GLC, and prerelease.

They also have boxes of newish cards you can rummage through and regularly refreshed binders of slightly pricier cards ($1-$5).

The player base is pretty broad with very experienced tournament players as well as more casual players like me.

For Pokemon at least, the community organizers are mostly not employees, so not sure how it is to play other games there.

This place is magical! The people are always so helpful, whether I’m there with my 8yo or for myself. A lot of variety and always something new.
The events are great too. My 8yo just did one of the learn to play pokemon events and it was very informative and fun. We will definitely be doing more.
It may seem like a tiny touch, but the bathroom sign made the space feel inclusive.

Rude and stuck up employees… the only two employees in there were playing some game and seemed more invested in that than actually helping me. And you better make sure you shut the door when you come in cause if you don’t they’ll rudely ask you to shut it and roll their eyes cause their door doesn’t shut by itself like every other business’ door. I heard great things about this place and was left very unsatisfied with my visit, the atmosphere just felt off the moment I walked through the door and the events that led after it didn’t help.

The pictures of the store make it seem like they have way more games than they actually have. Not much of a selection. Also, it was very dark inside. I get ambient lighting in a restaurant but at a game store I want to be able to read the box.

Love this place! We get Pokemon cards here and I've gotten games for us and gifts. They host game events here, too. Been here several times and will continue to shop here in the future!

Loved this place! Has a great selection of boardgames, magic cards, pokemon, ect. It was clean and had a nice spacious area to play magic or whatever. Great prices and great service! Definitely recommend!
