Bought a Home with DR Horton completed June 2022 and let me start off by saying the sales people are awesome. Specifically sale rep named Nicole. She helped us with the process from start to finish and truly cares about her clients and if they are happy. She called with frequent updates and even called to make sure we were happy with progress of home. Nicole is a gem and DR Horton should be happy to have a sales person like her.

So we moved in end of June 2022 and the house was built pretty quick and there was some issues during the walk through like mis matched siding, lose cement ledges, paint spatter all over floor of house, dry wall screw above cabinets not removed drilled in halfway, bubble flooring and bad mud jobs through out the house specifically in the corners. We pointed this out to Brian who was the one doing the walk through and he said he would have it fixed before we moved in. We'll guess what? we moved in and nothing we pointed out was completed. Here we are in December almost 6 months later and DeAndre the guy I have been working with after Brian and only two of the issues have been completed. I am not happy with DR Horton as my check was not delayed to them when I bought house but they sold me a house with issues and are making me wait.

I gave every person an opportunity to correct the issue before I sent this review out and their is no sense of urgency. Take my $390k and not fix my issues. Not happy with DR Horton and don't recommend buying a house with them cause if you have issues they will make you wait and dodge calls and avoid the issues. Seems like they have the sale part down pat but once you move in its over they avoid you like the plaque.

I called Nicole because I wasn't getting responses from others and Nicole helped out as much as she could but she always answered her phone. Honestly if your deciding to move to this area buy a Ryan home they might have better after purchase support and might actually care and have a sense of urgency. Also I have never moved into a house where you can't plug things into outlets, it struggles to go in doesn't make sense.

Not Happy DR Horton, your not America's builder cause if you were you would take care of your customers.

I'm seriously considering purchasing a home here. I was quite impressed with the house itself. There are a few things I need to research prior to committing but I'm definitely 70% on board.

Once we were able to narrow down which model was best, she then offered to tour available lots, and to see homes that were near completion for our model choice. I am usually lazy in writing reviews but couldn’t stop myself from writing one for the services which we got from Selina Arriaga. She was our sales person for DR Horton home. Right from the day one when she showed us different options, she was professional, attentive and very responsive. She kept us up to date with progress throughout the construction process and even went out of the way to make herself available on her PTO for my request to visit the under construction home to perform a special ritual. This was my first home purchase and to be honest I was skeptical and nervous initially having not much idea how the process goes. But it was so smooth with her that I couldn’t believe home buying could be so much hassle free. I have couple of friends who purchased home through her and everyone is pleased with her services. I am satisfied with my overall experience with DR Horton for my home purchase. Homes are affordable and neighborhood is good.
