My buddy and I just came here for our first games of Warhammer 40k.
Gabriel and Jared working the counter were so nice. Gabriel linked us up with a couple of employees: Bruno and Chase.
Bruno and Chase were so amazing! They were in the middle of a match but let us jump in, stopped everything to patiently explain the rules to us. It was great!

Probably the best Sacramento table top RPG store. Period. These guys deserve your business. Prices are similar as most. The staff is dedicated and helpful and each a gamer themselves. The inventory is epic. TTRPG's, mini's, Warhammer 40K, MTG, etc. I am very thankful to have them in our hometown. Now, Roll Initiative & get to expanding your imagination!!!

Incredibly grateful for the space and community this shop provides. They reward gms who run organized play events at their shop, and you can always find something cool to check out on their calendar. It's clear from the bustling weekday evenings, the big stack of store games ready to play, and the fastidiously updated monthly calendar, that creating a space to gather and enjoy hobbies is a huge priority for this business.

The selection is incredible, and I often leave having bought something cool I didn't know about going in. The staff here and at the Rocklin location is incredibly knowledgeable. I've come with questions about MANY different things, and they've always got an answer. If they don't have it, they know where to get it.

Really nice employees! I just got into Warhammer 40k and went here to buy paints. One of their employees, Bruno, was really nice and spent 15 minutes asking me questions and helping me pick out some paints to get started.

I was a regular for a while, but the store has just become less and less welcoming over the last couple of years. It used to be I could strike up a conversation with staff as long as they weren't busy. Now most of the staff seems irritated at you for needing assistance. I asked a staff member about putting up a notice to look for a new D&D group and she told me to go ahead as long as I could find a thumbtack. It got taken down because it wasn't run through a manager. That's fine if it's against the rules, but I can't follow the rules if I'm given the wrong information. Followed by the fact that it's just become so unwelcoming unless you play Warhammer or Magic. I'd been going in less and less as it was, but I just don't feel welcome anymore. 5 stars if you play magic and warhammer. Otherwise, you're just in the way and bothering people.

The person at the counter just seemed as if I was waisting his time for asking questions because they didn't have what I originally come in to purchase. There was no other customers waiting for assistance so not sure what the rush was for.

Side note I am not a gamer, and was making a purchase for my brother who was unable to go shopping; I was given a list and had him on the phone (with a very short delay) since they were out of the card packs he wanted.

Sales area feels like a scrap bin, no actual games. Website does not work. Google shows products, but they don’t have what’s even listed and not updated. No Facebook to show new games or some way to see what’s new in stop. For a game store with some great old games, the potential to be a great board game store is being wasted. Amazon and Online board game stores will still be my go to. Please do better, I want to come there and make it my favorite FLGS.

Large store for browsing/playing games. They have a large room off to the left of the entrance where you can use tables and play games. Their pricing is quite high on a lot of their products, however you might still manage to find a deal (especially if something is on sale). The staff seemed quite helpful/friendly which is always a plus. The location was a bit strange as it was the only business located on the backside of the building. Parking is horrid! There was barely enough space to back out of the spot. Overall decent board game store.
