This place is unique, because it’s in an old church. The church is large and open on the inside. Many of its parts have been reconstructed to create the dining experience. I had an amazing burger (I like my pickles on the side) with tater tots (the server’s recommendation), both were very tasty. The atmosphere inside this place can’t be beat. If you’re in Clinton, IA or nearby this is a must see.

This is the most beautiful brewery I have visited. This place took going to church to a whole new level. The craftsmanship was incredible. We were with friends dining out in Clinton when a friend showed us this pub. I would have never guessed this place was a brewery. The drinks were great and the waiter was knowledgeable and helped us decide on our brew. The food looked great but we had already eaten elsewhere. I am definitely looking forward to going back to try their pizza and just be in the presence of this place. The ambience is something special! Check this Great Revivalist Brewery out!

Beautiful brewery in a former church. We tried two of the lighter beers and both were well balanced and refreshing. We did not have food but next time we certainly will. The pizza looked great, and so did the wings. They have nice rustic slab live-edge tables and a large fountain in the courtyard. Really a cool place! It was busy when we arrived, almost always a great indicator of value and quality.

One of the coolest places to enjoy drinks and food. Wood fired pizza was really great, crispy and chewy crust is tough to do right but they did it! Such a beautiful space, wanted to stay all day.

Thank you so much to whoever decided to revitalize this church into a business. It’s hard breaking when history gets lost due to lack of maintenance, but this place is not the case at all!
Gorgeous first floor. Gorgeous basement. Since it was winter, we didn’t get to enjoy the patio, but count me in this summer!!

Last, but not least, I appreciated that I could replace the patty in my burger for a black bean without an added fee.

Located inside Clinton's beloved Gothic Revivalist Church,this brewery offers a one of a kind experience.

As you step inside,you have to admire the stunning architecture and famous artwork lining the walls.

You are seated by a hostess and are given a menu of many craft brews,sodas,seltzers and energy drinks. They even offer THC infused lemonades.

I started with a flight of 3 beers.. Recreational Red Ale,1898 American Lager and Peach Wrangler Sour Ale..all were very flavorful and reasonably priced

For our food choices I had the Bac N Chz Bites which were cheese curds with bacon and a raspberry Chipotle dipping sauce.

My wife who is Gluten Free had the Carnivore Wood Fired Pizza with house made sausage, pepperoni,capicola, prosciutto and red onions.

Unfortunately this is why I'm only giving this brewery 4 stars and not 5. The pizza was just average at best and all the ingredients were in the middle of the pie and nothing around the edges. The menu descriptions were better than the flavors themselves in our opinion. Cheese curds were lacking in flavor even with the sauce . Our server was very unfriendly and never came back to see how everything was.

For beers and unique atmosphere this place is 5 stars but for service and food quality I'm afraid they only get 4 stars.

Used to visit Great Revivalist in Geneseo, had to make a trip out to Clinton for the new location. Outstanding atmosphere in the rejuvenated church, tap list and food menu were great, will be back!
