It’s a nice place to go walk or bike. There are shelters & benches to relax. I saw people going fishing as well so I guess it’s good for that too.
Although I wonder if the playground had more swings & slides or may be need an upgrade.

But overall great place to spend time in nature.
I have never encountered parking problems here. It does have 2-3 parking spots.

This section of the Des Plaines River trail provides a very pleasant bike ride. Going north, the trail goes under a bridge. If the river is high, the trail may be closed. A short distance east is an entrance to the trail to continue riding. Crossing the road is harrowing because the cars are moving with speed.

Great trails, and my kids love the playground. So many different trails and paths to go on. Very beautiful scenery. So many different birds and animals that we have seen on our walks. We have seen turtles, cranes, fish, chipmunks, and frogs. The paths are well taken care of and a lot of fun to go on.

Nice little spot of nature just off the beaten path. A couple miles of well-tended trails, a pond, playground, great picnic area.
