Surprised by this quaint little park! Restrooms were well kept, the trails were adventurous, plenty of cool stuff to look at and read to learn about. Plenty of benches and swings to sit and relax along the riverside trail.

Beautiful sightseeing. Clean bathrooms, nice trail, and was able to walk my dog around. Even saw a few people eating lunch at the picnic tables.

This old school park backs up to a much new playground for small children called ESP that is fantastic. Harris shoals has a nice trail and fun it the summer if you are CAREFUL you can play in the water on the rocks. They also have an outdoor Pavillion with pit for barbecuing that you'll need to reserve through the county--but it's big--like for a whole pig or even several. Nice little pond.

Very relaxing little park to get lost with nature at. The trail is very woodsy and pretty, and you're not too far away from civilization at any point along the trail. The river is also very nice, and parts of the trail are perfect for photo ops. Additionally there's a n older playground, ball field, and BBQ pavilions.

The only reason I gave it three stars, is because this was a playground that me my siblings came to when we were pretty young. We remember the OG playground with the big old metal slide. I brought my son to feel a little nostalgic and let him play on the playground I played on as a kid to find it gone. It was such a sad feeling to see that playground gone

Not a terrible park, but lots of car noise. There is an approx 1 mile loop around the river. I would expect lots of mosquitoes in summer as it's very marshy, but it was fine in October. There is also a big playground and plenty of places to BBQ and picnic. I'm mainly interested in places to hike, and this one doesn't quite make the cut. The trail is too short and too close to roads and houses to be peaceful.

Great park with beautiful walking trails and a new playground (Drive around to ESP; it’s for everyone!). The new addition also includes a spacious picnic area.
