Well, this is by far beyond any compare! The craziest and most wonderful adventure one could hope for! James is an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guy, who makes you feel very comfortable and explains everything before the take off. I was wondering what was that "psychology" that they use to make one "calm the nerves", and I still don't know exactly when and what happened, but it sure did work. For someone who is afraid of heights, this was truly an extraordinary experience. Great communication, great flight, and it goes without saying, the views are breathtaking. This is probably the highest review I've ever given to anyone. Awesome and awesome!!

I took a gyro ride with James out of Dillingham Field whilst visiting Maui.

The airport is in an incredibly beautiful part of the island, and the lush, steep terrain combined with the totally open cockpit of the aircraft delivers an extraordinarily three-dimensional feeling of pure flight that is difficult to place with words.

James is an airline pilot and his solid attitude towards flight safety was apparent throughout. I felt very comfortable flying with him.

Whether you are a seasoned pilot, or simply someone looking for a unique experience, I highly recommend taking a flight with James. It was a unique experience that will remain etched in my memory for years to come.

What an adventure of a lifetime. I was a bit nervious but James quickly made me feel very comfortable. He explained how safe the aircraft really is, and how the aircraft works in depth. James is very knowledgeable about not only his aircraft, but aircraft in general. As we flew, he had constant communication with me and was checking on my wellbeing and was still explaining how the aircraft worked and showed me just how incredibly safe it is. I highly reccomend this adventure to anyone. I told James that I am scared of heights, he told me that many pilots are scared of heights as well. I truely felt at ease as we flew around. What an amazing view of the area we were flying around. I still have a grin from ear to ear, and you will too! Fly high and enjoy! Don't forget to purchase the photo package. I recently had the incredible opportunity to take a gyroplane lesson with Hawaii Rotor Adventures, guided by the owner, James Alaggio. It was a unique perspective to take in the beauty of Hawaii from that vantage point. Just a seat and a 360° view. I kind of felt like a bird it was surreal.

I gained not only piloting skills but also a deep appreciation for the art of flying.

After flying here I was inspired to get my private pilots license. Everyone should try this at least once.

My first flight on the Gyro with Captain James Alaggio was legendary! As an aspiring aviator I’ve always dreamt of flying all sorts of aircraft and of course gyros were one of them.
