Lots of things to do and the property is beautiful. Enjoyed fishing at a peaceful and beautiful place. The cabins are nice and fordable. Great place for gatherings! I can't wait to bring my kiddos. Miss Sally is a very sweet and kind person and enjoyed talking to her when we arrived. Her husband is a down to earth kind of guy. Great peoples... We will be back!

Breathtaking lake, quality made cabins. We stayed at Tanglewood cabin for our one-year anniversary—we didn't even miss the wifi or TV whatsoever! Take a break away from the computers, the black mirrors of technology, speak with Ms Sally, and return to being in the moment with the people you love. That's what Ms Sally and Hidden Hollow gave us during our vacation, and now we're already missing the place!

We have stayed here several times. The last time was for Father's Day. This was also the weekend our youngest got engaged. It was so special to be there as a family during this special event. It was relaxing and the cabin we stayed in was perfect. Rustic cabin, nice and clean. The porch area is perfect for dinner time. We grilled, fished and had a blast being together as a family. We will be going back to celebrate my 50th birthday and 3 other family members birthday. Highly recommend this as a family getaway.

I visited this place for a wedding. The parking sucked. The venue had many rules. I was surprised that the venue was not cleaned before we arrived, cobwebs & dust were everywhere. The couple made it beautiful, as they put a lot of work into decorations.

It was a great venue for this hippie crowd. The lake was a nice background & my daughter enjoyed riding in a canoe after the ceremony.

However, I would not recommend this place for a wedding of elegance or when handicap or elderly access is needed. Do not expect much help from the venue. The bathrooms were very difficult to get to. The bridal room for getting ready can get crowded easily & the window A/C is not sufficient.

This place would be nice for a group retreat, or if you want to be in the woods in a cabin just enjoying the outdoors. I do not know the cost of anything, this is just my observations from attending a wedding.

Beautiful location. peaceful and quiet. The lake is beautiful, the cabins are rustic, it reminds me of going home to visit family. My kids love it too. we are there several times a year and the memories the kids are creating make me glad we found this treasure. the cabins are clean and comfortable and well maintained. the lake is peaceful and great for swimming, canoeing and going off the rope swing. We love the campfires and the porches for sitting and talking. This is great place! we will be back, hopefully many more times.

My nephew and I stayed at Hidden Hollow for a weekend hiking trip at Cloudland Canyon. We tried to stay at a cabin at the park, however they were full. We loved Hidden Hollow. The cabin was so nice. Rustic and cozy, perfect for the mountains. The grounds are so nice and clean, well kept. There’s a nice lake and hiking trails. The couple that run the place are so nice and were so easy to work with. I would recommend staying here rather than the park. I will definitely be back with family and friends!

We took our 15 year old daughter and a friend for a 4 day/3 night stay. Our first 2 nights were in Tanglewood Cabin and the last night was upper floor of Hickory Hall. The pictures are accurate. This is just like stepping back in time, the girls enjoyed themselves beyond belief. Any where we went they could not wait to get back to the rope swing. The cabins are older but they are clean and functional. If you want brand new---go somewhere else, but if you want to relax, unwind and enjoy technology free family time---go! They have everything for great adventure: canoes available for your use, fishing dock, suspension bridge, swimming area and rope swing (all at no extra charge). The property is great for bike riding. Each area has a place for a nightly fire (again wood provided). We did not experience any problems. Both of the girls want to go back--and coming from two teens that speaks volumes! Great Value!

This was a repeat visit for us. Our youngest will be leaving for college last year and wanted to come back. If you are looking for new construction this is not your place. We stayed in the tanglewood cabin. It is older but it is clean and functional. What is really great about this place is you truly unplug. It is like stepping back in time. They have kayaks,canoes,and a rope swing for use in the pond. The setting is beautiful and Sally is a gracious hostess. A great place to go to create unique memories.
