This historical marker highlights the highest point in Ohio at 1549 feet above sea level. The Ohio historical society did a great job with the historical sign detailing Campbell Hill. If you are nearby, it is worth the stop. Thank you to the Highpointersfoundation.org for their continued support of these locations.

Quite an underwhelming experience, to be quite honest, but if it means a lot to you to stand at the highest point in Ohio, I guess it's worth the trip. You can sign your name and pick up your very own certificate for visiting!

Though it may be an underwhelming location for a high point, there is beauty everywhere if you look close enough. You can drive right up to the top or take a small walk up the hill to some old radar stations that were set up for defense purposes during world war 2. I’m not sure if you can tour these historic buildings as they’ve been closed everytime I’ve got. There is a historical marker and some benches to relax at and take in the view.

The highest point in Ohio is at the top of a hill near Bellefontaine near Clark State College. You drive up to the top and there are parking spaces at the top. Not much of a view but there is an historical marker and sign. There is also a cabinet that contains certificates that you visited the highest point in Ohio.

Not a great view but a nice detour if you are in the area.

This is one of those places that I have passed by a lot of times and finally visited. It's interesting to see what the highest point in Ohio looks like and to say that I've been there. It does have some interesting history and has some historical markers that explains it.

Not only the highest point in Ohio, but the former home of the 664th AC&W Squadron Airbase. There is a welcome center, it was closed when we went. A career center now uses most of the property.

I revisited this site to show a friend the highest point. Not breathtaking, by any means, but notable. There is as small brick wall with a rock raised just an inch or 2 above the walk, presumably the actual highest point. There is also a sign with some story pertaining to the site. The view is maybe a hundred feet or so above some of the other surrounding area. One can see a newish truck stop from this point.
