Amazing venue with top notch productions and cast, not just for the Halloween season, but also for a Christmas, Valentine's, 4th of July and several other glow Productions throughout the year! So much time and care is put into production value that it's worth every penny you spend! Highly recommend!
Also the prop /selfie room at the end is AWESOME!

4 haunts in one. We did the combo ticket with the other house in NE. They did a good job of keeping you occupied in line. There was one actor trying to put her rats big balls on kids who were waiting. The first two haunts kind of blurred together. It was very dark which gave it an eerie vibe. A lot of animatronics but most of them were well timed. The 3D clown haunt was very detailed and very cool. Probably the coolest clown themed haunt I've seen. When you thought you were done you came out of what I think was an RV and walked to the motel. Even my husband who only does the haunted houses for me thought it was cool. It was very thought out. The actors were great. The lady using an arm to beat a dead body on the bed in one of the rooms needs a raise. You walked around for what felt like a long time before being shown a secret passage where they hide the bodies. Took about 30 minutes to walk through.
My only complaint would be the other patrons kind of ruining the experience which isn't the haunt's fault. A group of women in front of us consistently acted they didn't know where to go causing groups to pile up. The actors did a decent job of trying to space people back out. The ladies in front of us did it so many times we finally jumped in front of them which made the rest more enjoyable. The gift shop was kind of lame but the props and selfie areas were cool. They also had a big screen playing horror movies and bonfires at the end. We stayed and watched the end of a movie. Overall it was a great way to spend a Saturday night.

I just left the Hillside House of Hell and I'm still shaking. The moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere was electric, with creepy sounds and lights setting the tone for a terrifying night. Once we entered the house, we were immediately immersed in a world of horror. The sets were incredibly detailed, with each room more terrifying than the last. The special effects were also impressive, with some truly mind-blowing moments that left us all screaming. Overall, I highly recommend the Hillside House of Hell to anyone looking for a truly terrifying experience.

“I really enjoyed the experience and appreciate the effort you put into the haunted house, but I felt it lacked that surprise factor and intensity in the characters to truly scare. Maybe you could add more characters with realistic costumes and makeup and some more unexpected performances. Creating tense atmospheres with immersive sound effects or having characters interact in unexpected ways could add an extra dose of fear. I’m sure with these changes, it would be even more impactful and memorable for everyone!”

Not enough actors and too many customers in the attraction at once. Went on a Friday night at 10pm. Ticket booth said it was a 2 hour wait for general admission. Ended up spending $15 additional for a fast pass. Entered the haunted house from a separate line and never saw where general admission enters. Not enough actors in the house. More scary props than anything. Almost all of the actors in there house were minors, or under 16 years old. However, the props were good and the house was one of the coolest I have seen before. There are three different parts of the attraction. It leads you outside and you enter the motel. There were too many people which caused a huge traffic jam and we had to stand outside in the cold for 20 minutes. When we exited the haunted house at 11pm and passed the general admission line, there was not one single person in line. Felt like the ticket booth person was telling customers there was a long wait to get people to upgrade to the fast pass. Overall decent experience, but I wouldn’t pay $55 to return again.

My first time going to Hillside was this Halloween and it was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had in a haunted house. The actors are beyond dedicated to their roles, the props and decorations are so detailed and there’s multiple different themes and rooms. The entire experience was around 40 minutes and I never got bored once. The attention to detail put into this place is astonishing. I then went a second time to the Christmas special and it was just as entertaining and they even managed to switch some things up to keep it interesting. I would recommend this haunted house over any other all day. Great work!!

My 13 yr old was pulling me through the attractions REAL fast, but later on, admitted it scared her WAY more than the someone's backyard haunt in Sidney, IA, which was her first ever haunted house. For what I could see at such a quick glance, this place looked comparable to Scary Acres, which has been my favourite since the early 2000s. Bonus points here for the Bill Moseley meet & greet (although WAY more expensive than meeting Tony Todd & R.A. Mihailoff at
Scary Acres back in the day). She had a GREAT time at her first professional haunted house & we're ready to go back for their Xmas event. The staff was EXCELLENT & even after standing in a cold drizzle for a while, we both agree this place gets five stars. Their prop/selfie rooms are SO much fun!

Another great time with family! The line actors are fun, and houses are solid. There are lots of good jump scares as well. With most haunted houses, there could have been more actors throughout. But it is usually dependent upon the availability of actors.
I can appreciate the work the owners have put in to making this haunt what it is. If you've never been, I would recommend you visit this haunted attraction.
