Thank you to Veronica at both check-in and check-out. Veronica was very professional and pleasant to talk to. She answered our questions regarding places to eat and gave us information about all the restaurants in the area. As it turned out we opted for the Mediterranean Cafe right next door. It was very good. She also checked on a few walking trails we had questions about and gave suggestions - Lake Murray is beautiful! She is an asset to your Holiday Inn Express family. Our room was clean and comfortable, especially the choice of bed pillows - soft vs firm which is not always available at other Holiday Inn Express locations. Thank you as well to Angel (late afternoon receptionist) - when we came back in from our walk up to the Old Mill Pond - we chatted with her about this being our first visit to Lexington SC and how we were enjoying it. The pineapple water in the lobby when we came in from our walk was especially refreshing. Breakfast did not disappoint! Also an extra thank you for the very pleasant Housekeeping staff. Thank you again Holiday Inn Express.

Immaculate accommodations, superior service and excellent location! Veronica started off our stay with a smile and followed up with a friendly check-in to make sure we were happy with our room and see if we needed anything. Our room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Veronica recommended a few good restaurants and we had a great dinner as a result. We were able to take a nice walk afterwards and felt safe in the neighborhood. It's close to the police department, cute shops, and an amphitheater. At breakfast, another gem of an employee, Andrea, took care of us. She made us feel like family and made more oatmeal for me when they ran out even though it was almost closing time. My husband enjoyed the hot breakfast and pancake maker, which makes fresh, hot pancakes in just a few minutes. What a FANTASTIC place to stay! Hello, Holiday Inn Express! Goodbye, Hampton Inn!

This hotel is in a great location if you need to stay in Lexington. Several nice restaurants within walking distance. Shopping is not too far away. Staff was very nice. Room was as expected. Nice indoor pool with outdoor patio. I didn't get to sample the breakfast but it was busy and smelled good.

The property here was clean and modern. All the employees we came in contact with were courteous and welcoming. We did have a couple issues getting our room to maintain a good temperature, but the thermostat worked fine. I’m a side sleeper and the bed was not the most comfortable for that. It felt like my hip was digging into something on the side of the mattress I was on. Other than that, the pillows were great and the breakfast was the best we have ever had at a hotel. Don’t miss the cinnamon rolls!

Easy check in, WiFi was great, clean rooms, excellent breakfast. Me and my family did a long stay here due to construction in our home. The hotel was like a home away from home. The staff was amazing and super friendly. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

First let me say when you walk in the hotel is very clean and smells good every inch of this hotel the smell is very pleasant.
Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The front office manager Halie was wonderful with our check in and meeting my family needs. The breakfast was really good.

The rooms are very spacious & clean, but you can hear your neighbors tv & people in the hallway. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was bright & shower was wonderful. My only complaint is they really don’t have a lot of breakfast choices that are gluten free. Otherwise I loved the hotel.

Holiday Inn Express is my general go to for a moderate hotel. I expect them to be clean and comfortable and to have a nice cinnamon roll. This HIE exceeds those expectations. It’s super clean. It is slightly more comfortable than any other HIE I’ve stayed in. Their cinnamon roll is the same, which is to say yummy. But the rest of the breakfast was hotter and fresher than most. The whole place feels fresh. The staff is pleasant. Like genuinely friendly. ||It’s so nice I had to say something

My husband and I love staying in Lexington and our hotel of choice is the Holiday Inn Express because it is within walking distance of downtown. However, the last time we stayed the price was substantially more than we are used to paying. We were told it was because of the events in the area. We had tickets for a benefit concert which were only $15.00. The clerk said there was a dance contest going on in Lexington as well. Why should price gouging be allowed? We plan in advance but because of other events happening we end up paying so much more. This has led us to rethink where we stay and what events we will attend. It will be economically better to stay farther away and uber back and forth. Or go to another city like Summerville, SC. We also had another couple come to Lexington to join us, but they too were disappointed at the price. It doesn't seem fare to fluctuate the pricing like you do. It's the same bed and the same breakfast as always. The room was nice and staff was nice. Breakfast also was very good. I hate to say good-by but I'm not paying a lot more for the same room again.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and smells great. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was outpaced by a grade school water fountain plugged with bubble gum. This was confirmed by 5 other people on 3 different floors.

Night service managers were wholly disengaged if you needed anything at all...

The continental breakfast was, meh, at best.

Overall, very convenient and if you keep a lower-cost hotel bar set low and don't mind dismal water pressure, it'll be an ok stay.
