I love it even though it's small but I wish it was open all year. Or, at least longer since it's warmer than it used to be and another month in the fall and spring would make sense.

Mainly, it's just nice to walk, bike, or drive through. It's beautiful nature with the creek and oak trees. Great place to picnic, step in the water, swim occasionally, play horseshos, volleyball, or just relax and enjoy the quiet nature sounds.

Great place to go with dogs. Its usually a quiet place with less people and traffic then any other local park. They do have shelters and grills and two small playground areas with ageing equipment better for ages 5 and up. There is a kind of spill way made by a sunken road that is fun to wade in. They also have an open field where you could play baseball or frisbee. I love to take my dogs to the creek and then run to dry off with no concern of cars. There is just a quiet gravel road on one edge of the park and the narrow tree lined roads running throughout do not allow for fast moving vehicles. The only downside to this park are the bathrooms, which are rather dirty and disused.

Nice place to get away to clear your mind and relax... have a picnic... do some fishing on the river... play horshoes...soccer ... volleyball. Great way to spend the day with family and friends.

The park is a great place to get away from crowds like at Briggs Woods Park. beautiful old oak trees and nice shelters, a newly remodeled bathroom building due to the WC Boyscouts. New improved access to the north shelter is a BIG plus.

Tanner and I came here after a shift at P.F. Changs. Great quiet place to rest your eyes or rinse off. Noticed many people exercising and playing sports in blue jeans.
