First time going to Kids Empire ! Absolutely love it. We will definitely be coming back. Dejiah (not sure if I’m spelling correctly) she is an employee here that helped us. She did an amazing job. Explained things well and assisted with our big family. She had patients for it all. 10 adults and 12 kids in total. She did her job very well!

Kids Empire Merrillville is AWESOME!!! Now when we first started to go I was reading the reviews and a little skeptical at first, but on our first trip there the staff was amazing. My child loves every single moment when going there. Just to make sure I wasn't going crazy we went a second and a third time and had the same great experience. Now maybe in the past there might have been some weird stuff going on with the customer service but as of Sept 2024, I'm giving them 5 star ratings all day. Now I realize ratings can be bias or impartial but if you look at my profile, I have 18 million views for my photography work under my belt. If a place is BOGUS, I'll be the first to say it but the Kids Empire in Merrillville is 5 STARS from me. When you go there you also meet some amazing parents who truly love their children and want to see their kids have fun. Keep up the great work Kids Empire Merrillville staff!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time here today and the kids LOVED it!!! My kids range from 2-12 years old and they all had so much fun! We spent 4 hours there then went and ate and came back again!! Also you always win a prize in the claw machine! Place is spic-n-span!! So clean! Workers are amazing! They run a tight ship so that really gave me peace of mind knowing they ONLY let your kid leave WITH you! All doors stay locked so you can relax more while the kids play. They also do not tolerate kids hurting others bc my child got hit in the face & this kid was hurting other kids as well and the worker made sure to find the kid and brought him to his mom and talked to them. They said if the kid hurt others bc again they would be asked to leave. ZERO tolerance for that behavior and that is so nice!! If you haven’t gone there yet you MUST GO!!! Such a nice place, friendly staff, and super clean!!! 🩷🩵

I had really high hopes for this place. I'll start with the positives. The staff was pleasant but only had one individual at the front to complete waivers, check in guest, and also operate the entrance and exit gate for guests. This created a lot of congestion and waiting.

The place is super clean and very inviting for the kids. The air was clean and thin with no harsh smells! We were so pleased with the play area, it's large and offered a nice variety.

However, we were very disappointed to learn that they only accept card. This is not mentioned on their website or when you call for pricing. Even though we live in a digital world for us on this particular day, it was a HUGE inconvenience to learn this upon arrival and not have any notice prior.

Also, while there, we were instructed to remove our shoes even as adults who were not playing but there were plenty of other parents walking around with shoes on. I asked if I could put my shoes on then as it's winter and my feet are cold too, and I was told no and once they had time they would address the parents in shoes and these parents were allowed to continue to walk around with shoes on.

Overall nice place, but could definitely use some help in customer relations and implementation of policy for all and not just when it's convenient for them to implement them.

We have so much fun here. The music is appropriate for kids and adults. There are so many kiddos that my son always find kiddos to play with. It’s very clean. Staff is very nice. They are available when you are ready. They always have enough people on staff who are so friendly when you need them.

My twins (4.5 years old) visited for the first time today and it was so much fun! It is a big area with many different climbing opportunities as well as sensory input if your child needs that - like we did. There is a fantastic slide and sledge coaster as well. Everything was clean and neat. The snack bar was great and everyone was very kind and helpful. If you are looking for a way to spend an afternoon with active kids definitely try this place! Thank you for a great experience!
