I can say enough GREAT things about my experience on the Cloud Ladder Via Ferrata with KMAC. First off I’d like to say that I’ve done two other VFs in Colorado (both highly rated) and the Cloud Ladder was better by far. My partner and I are both experienced climbers and thought we might be “underwhelmed”. But , WOW, the position, route selection , VF features (including two sky bridges!), was a constant thrill.

Our guide was attentive but not patronizing, he acknowledged our previous climbing experience and only “talked us through” on a couple of occasions when the clip-in points weren’t obvious. What a great guide (we tipped generously BTW).

This was a high adventure experience with a huge measure of safety build in from the start! If you’re really for a maximum VF experience I strongly recommend the KMAC Cloud Ladder VF.

I recently had the opportunity to climb the Via Ferrata in Estes Park with KMAC, and it was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, the experience was well-organized and filled with adventure. The guides were top-notch—professional, knowledgeable, and always made sure everyone felt safe while having fun.

A friend recommended the via ferrata climb with KMAC for trip to Estes Park. Definitely last minute on our part, but Dustin graciously was able to schedule a guide for my son and I on short notice during the busiest time of the tourist season. Our guide Peyton was a climbing pro, certified EMT and and skilled photographer—he had us covered on all fronts! He was full of great instruction and great stories. The climb was definitely the highlight of our trip. We’re already planning our next trip!

Our group was in Estes Park for a bachelorette party and of all the activities we chose, Via Feratta was by far the best! As Colorado natives, we knew it would be beautiful along the way, but some of the pictures our guide took were stunning with the scenery in the back and our friendship as highlight. We also have lots of pictures to celebrate the accomplishment…because even though we were all extremely active people, this climb was challenging at parts. The guides are all very friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable, communicating perfectly to keep people comfortable. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely go back!

This was our second time out with KMAC (first was cloud ladder via ferrata 5*), but this is our first time climbing. We do a lot of outdoor activities but have never climbed. It was me (52), my wife (49) and son (17). Our guide was Kevin and he was excellent, he catered the trip to what we wanted. He asked if we just wanted to climb or learn more skills and climb. He started us on a couple of easy walls and then took us to some others to test our skills. He did a great job of teaching. He let us try stuff first and then gave some lessons and suggestions so when he taught us the information made more sense. We all thought he did a great job. He did a good job of pushing us but still keeping everyone comfortable. Kevin was also willing to stay as long as needed to make sure we all completed our goals. He was never worried about the time and rushing back, he just wanted to make sure we all had fun. We did the 6 hour trip and I think we were a little over 7. The only thing I have ever struggled with is contacting the day before. I don't blame them because they did reach out on both trips, but I did not receive the messages until later the next day. I think it is due to lack of cell phone coverage when traveling (airplane and in the mountains). I did get voicemails a day later, but that is on the phone company. I would just suggest trying 3 methods (voice, text and email), all said I did leave a message at the office and I have always got a call back later that night to confirm (both trips). We couldn't recommend KMAC or Kevin more, 5 stars without a doubt. Kevin pulled the most out of us and I really think we did more then expected for our first time.

The Via Ferrata route itself was breathtaking—stunning views of the Rocky Mountains that are impossible to put into words.

The climb was challenging but fun, with just the right balance of adrenaline and awe-inspiring scenery. Our guide was patient, encouraging, and gave us the confidence to tackle sections we didn’t think we could!
