I found this trail by accident. I had come to Vero to go to the botanical gardens, but they were not open so I was trying to kill time. I found this place which has a very small parking lot but was excited for the trails. I went backwards just because I wanted to be alone and there were several people who were going the other way.I ended up getting lost somewhere in the middle not being able to figure out where the starting point was so I went backwards but was able to get some cool pictures with a macro lens. I was trying to out.

Beautiful place for a walk and to reconnect with the wilderness. A lot of shade in the beginning of the path. You have 2 ways to go in which is pretty cool. A lot of trees, you do have shade and some picnic tables. The area when I went was muddy because Ofcourse is Florida and the weather here is crazy so it’s been pretty much rainy every afternoon for the past week, so there was mud and a whole lot of mosquitoes (so definitely bring some bug repellent) overall is a very nice spot. The reason for the 4 ⭐️ is because there are no restrooms, the parking lot is small.

Pretty cool spot. Very close to an urban development but so untamed once you get deep in.

A haven for blue land crabs ? amongst a slew of other coastal and brackish animals and plants.
The dense red mangroves and tannin red water in the marsh is a crazy cool backdrop the the 3+ miles of trail.

The short adventure trail was pretty cute but I wish it was a bit more adventurous.

Great views of barrier islands and Indian river inlet. Pretty good fishing. Go in the morning. North South trailer get hot by noon. Walk slow and watch out for blue land crabs and fiddler crabs. And yes there may be a gator on trail!

Nice trail for exercise and nature. Mosquitoes can be bad and first couple hundred yards are muddiest. Please don’t litter. Views of Indian River are worth the effort. No restrooms and limited parking. Enjoy!
