The best winter car camp I've ever done! The rec center folks let me have full run of the park since I was the only one here, so even though I paid for an RV spot I moved over to the West shelter which had lights and power. Did some great PST winter riding and had an absolute blast. Thanks City of Garnett!!!!

The lake is very pretty, and there are multiple camp sites around it. You have to book the site online, but they have power, bathrooms, and there are showers in the rec center. There's a disc golf course, and it's perfect for a bike ride. The sites are very spacious, and the bathrooms are clean.

Nice small park, not crowded $16 a night no sewer at sites but 1 at entrance.

We were here for the fireworks show so this review will reflect that, but it was tons of fun. Lots of food trucks, low prices, easy parking, you can sit right by the lake to watch the fireworks from your car or bring some lawn chairs. The show lasted 20-30 minutes, it was exciting and fun, you'll want to arrive early for best parking and bring something to do for younger kids while you wait.
