On the positive side, the rooms themselves are very well-designed, with a great vibe and intriguing decor. The puzzles were challenging and rewarding to solve, offering a sense of accomplishment when we cracked them.

However, there were a few areas that fell short. The hint system needs improvement. Communication with the game master was frustrating; we often couldn’t hear her clearly, and she struggled to understand us when we asked for clues. One puzzle felt unnecessarily repetitive, and when we offered feedback, the staff seemed unreceptive to suggestions.

Additionally, despite the room being new, a few components malfunctioned during our game. Staff had to enter the room twice to replace items, which disrupted the flow. To make matters worse, we discovered leftover items from the previous game, which should have been cleaned up beforehand.

While there’s potential for this place to offer an outstanding experience, some adjustments in staff training, communication, and maintenance are needed to make it truly great.

My friends and I have been here twice now and we love it, probably best escape room I’ve ever done. We did bewitched first and this last time we did the cannibal room to go with the spooky season and both were great! I had a larger party than the 7 allowed in the room and they were super nice to help us incorporate 2 more people as well. Family owned and you can definitely tell with the customer service. I couldn’t recommend more!

Took my kids 10 and 8. We had a great time. Very cool set up rooms. One of the owners took us on a tour after our escape room. The set re nicely set up. Age appropriate themes nd the interaction with the workers was great. Kids want to go back, as do I.

Make this a must do on your visit to San Diego!! This was our first time trying an escape room and we had an amazing time! There are so many choices in this area but this one is top quality!! I absolutely loved the interactive aspects, we were lauging our heads off the whole time!!

First time doing an Escape Room. We did the Cannibal story. Their level of detail in the design, storyline, and gameplay was extremely well thought out! It was both challenging and intuitive. We had an absolutely incredible time. 10/10 Highly Recommend!

Have done around 8 escape rooms with the family and friends sofar on both coasts. Heart of Bastet took first place in my book. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful experience. They were very accomodating. My friends have a bad habit of being late but to my surprise this place gives you a 15 minute buffer. That was a tremendous relief.

I can definitely tell the employees there love their job, they have a lot of fun and are charismastic and it really shows through the way they act and talk.

They also really want everyone to have a good time and escape. Overall very fun experience. Would go again for the other escape rooms.
