Este lugar siempre ha sido racista, no es la primera vez que me discriminan por mostrar mi pasaporte colombiano,. Y escribo éste Review en español porque nos acabamos de sentir ofendidos con la bartender que está en la barra del primer piso en este momento. Viernes 12 de julio a las 12:25 am. Que atención tan horrible, agresiva, nada atenta. Se demoró con el pedido, hacia caras cuando uno le preguntaba algo. Y en toda la noche se la pasó fue atendiendo un grupo de amigos de ella. Quise hablar con el manager y la respuesta de el fue: " yo no estoy atendiendo ahorita, la mesera está allá". Señores de level one, estamos en un país multicultural, y este lugar está teniendo la fama de ser un lugar racista en downtown mesa.

This is strictly a review of the pinball games found at Level 1 Arcade Bar in Mesa, AZ. I didn't order any drinks or food while visiting, so therefore I can't speak to the quality/service of said amenities. However as a location to play pinball, Level 1 is terrific! I've never been to their Gilbert location but at this one in Mesa, the pinball tables all worked flawlessly. At other places, sometimes the games are not well-maintained. Not so here! Excellent lineup of games in great condition, many pins from the '90s and also a selection of more modern pins. Typically $1.00/game to play.

Phantom of the Opera (Data East, 1990) and Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure (Williams, 1993) were favorites! The pinball games are all upstairs. There is also a smattering of arcade cabinets to play both upstairs and downstairs, including classic all-time arcade greats 720 (Atari Games, 1986) and Smash TV (Williams, 1990). Staff was friendly! Games take tokens dispensed via machines on site. Two-hour street parking is available nearby, or try the Green Parking Lot practically next door. Worth the drive from Tucson to play!

Love this bar! This bar is packed with 2 levels of arcade games. They have darts throwing on the first floor and pinball machines on the second. The arcade games are retro and brought back lots of nostalgia. Tammy is such a great bartender! She was happy to help me get situated and was helpful in helping me choose what to drink. I am not a drinker, therefore I opted for a non alcoholic beer.

Upper and lower glow top bars with cool bartenders, every classic arcade machine you can think of, pinball machines, skateboards on the walls, nachos, cheese fries, and fried Twinkies . . . . . I shamelessly ran around this place like a child and you should too lol. Have fun!

This place is great! I actually stumbled in here during their grand opening because we had hit up the donut place around the corner and they gave us some free tokens for the grand opening. I've been back a number of times since then and every time, the staff is amazing. Upstairs is full of pinball machines, something most arcades are missing, IMO. They also always seem to have someone working to fix the pinball machines when they get jammed up. This is just a normal part of playing pinball so there is nothing wrong with their machines or anything. Since it is normal for balls to get jammed from time to time, them having someone there to fix it right away is like.. Incredible. I haven't tried to food but I'm sure it's great!

A very fun and chill bar, nice fun atmosphere. The bartenders are very friendly and make great drinks. Tokens are a good price and they have every game you could want. Two floors and two bars.

We constantly go to the level one in Gilbert. This place had two levels and I would say I think we like the upper level better. It was colder and the service seemed to be a little bit more on point. At the bottom level I felt like the server would sometimes get overwhelmed and maybe fell behind a little bit. I ordered the pretzel sticks which were not the best to be honest. The middle was a little soggy and maybe not fully cooked. Place had a great vibe probably not as good as vibe as we get in downtown Gilbert. The best part was golden tea on the first floor where me and my brother-in-law can play that game for hours.

If you love Level One in Gilbert, you'll really love the Mesa version. This two story arcade bar has everything you'd want and need. Great food, drinks, games, and service. Definitely a must visit when in Mesa.
