Really happy to have this game shop near the falls. Huge selection of board games and games off all kinds. Dice, paints, models, play mats, card sleeves and a ton more. Magic the gathering, commander nights on Thursday. Ian was very nice and explained all the different events each night like Wednesday nights board game night. There is a good amount of tables to play your games and the everyone playing was super friendly. Will definitely be back.

My favorite Athens area game store! Good selection and recommendations. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have pointed us to games we love. They also have game nights with Magic The Gathering and other games as well.

Love this store. The staff is always so helpful and kind. We've purchased many board games here and we've also been to play Pokemon and Warhammer with our kids. It's such a fun, clean place to go. Highly recommend!

I have been to many local game stores to purchase board games and mtg products and LevelUp has, by far, become my favorite. (Kind and fun employees who express no weird judgements or gate keeping tendencies have been a huge bonus!!)
I have enjoyed playing Commander on Thursdays, participating in things like prerelease and league events, as well as board game meetups. There is always great conversation, along with actual community building. They have competitive pricing, will go out of their way to find a game or an RPG manual you’re searching for, and will also share their insights about their own favorite games, complete with tips and tricks. This is exactly how a LGS should be. LOVE.

I recently visited Level Up Games, and I was blown away by their amazing selection of Magic: The Gathering cards, Dungeons & Dragons related items, and board games. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help me find exactly what I was looking for.

The store was well-organized, making it easy for me to navigate and find what I was looking for. They had an impressive variety of Magic: The Gathering cards, including rare and hard-to-find cards. The Dungeons & Dragons section was equally impressive, with a wide selection of books, miniatures, and other related items. And the board game selection was fantastic as well, with many of the latest and greatest games as well as classic titles.

But what really stood out to me was the staff. They were all passionate about gaming and were eager to share their knowledge with me. They made great recommendations based on my interests, and even helped me learn how to play a new game. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and I left the store feeling inspired to dive into my new purchases.

Also if you're a commander player the scene here is very casual and friendly so I wouldn't hesitate to come and play!

We visit a lot of board game stores, and this is one of our favorites. The staff is nice. They play Warhammer and magic the gathering, but they also play the more casual board games. They can give you recommendations based on what you like. They pay attention to you when you are there (lots of other board game stores, the staff are usually playing a game and mostly ignore you).

The store is clean. They have a lot of games, and games they don't have they will gladly order for you. I just love this place. It feels kind of like going to your friends' house, the one with all the cool toys.

Came for an early release MTG event, space was very cramped, Warhammer gamers were extremely loud and had to be asked to move their stuff from the Magic tables several times, draft started 30 min late due to staff disorganization. Only minimal prize support for winners, a couple promos and no pack rewards. Overall we had fun but there was definitely room for improvement.
