We had a great time kayaking near the glacier with Anneliese, our wonderful guide. Anneliese has tremendous outdoor experience guiding people on kayaking and skiing. She is friendly, patient, and kind. It was my first time kayaking and I didn’t find it hard at all. The icebergs are pretty awesome to watch from a short distance. I highly recommend this activity. It truly is a life-time experience.

Cannot recommend this company enough! We book our tour well in advance, and for MONTHS we were kept updated on the conditions of our tour. We were not forgotten about once. Then the actual tour day was so cool! We saw multiple bald eagles, sea otters, seals, river otters, porpoises, and bear tracks. Our guide, Quinn, was like a Wikipedia page on the area. He was very knowledgeable! I would rate this company a 10/10 on the communication alone. The last thing I’ll say is we booked one of the last days in the season, and it was iffy if there would be enough people signed up to go out. But the team was clearly trying to coordinate all the groups together to be able for us all to have fun and go on our tours!

We booked the Aialik/Northwestern Kayak Explorer trip through Liquid Adventures and it was undisputably the highlight of our two-week Alaska trip. Our guides, Daphne and Nick, were knowledgeable, experienced, and were not the typical overbearing tour guides. They took us on a two hour scenic boat ride out of Resurrection Bay and into Aialik Bay where we geared up and set sail in our tandem kayaks to Holgate Glacier. The Liquid Adventures team was very professional and their communication was superb. They provided a detailed itinerary and equipment list to bring on your trip. Do NOT be the lazy tourists who show up unprepared. They do an excellent job explaining the requirements, so do your half. We would highly recommend this team and their tours. It truly is a once in a lifetime experience.

We had an amazing time kayaking and viewing wildlife on the boat ride out to the glacier! Quinn was a wonderful guide, and our captain did an amazing job making sure we got to see lots of wildlife! This was one of the most expensive things we did in Alaska, but was well worth every penny. Having a private tour with just myself, my spouse, and two of our friends was an experience I will always remember!

My wife and I went on their kayaking adventure and had a great day! All their personnel are super friendly and knowledgeable. The day went flawlessly! Saw wildlife, glaciers, great weather… Who could ask for more!?

The staff, Molly and Daphne, were kind, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make this the best experience possible! We were rescheduled due to rain and high winds, and boy was it worth the wait! It was absolutely a beautiful and magical experience.

Had an amazing experience with Liquid Adventures! This review is for the Northwestern Glacier kayaking tour and honestly it was a once in a lifetime experience I’ll never forget. Our guide, Jaxson, was awesome ? If you come to Seward, seeing Kenai NP from the water is a MUST! Kayaking makes the experience even more immersive. Paddling through ice in front of the Northwestern glacier was such a unique and special experience. The scenery the entire day is jaw dropping and we saw every type of wildlife- humpbacks, orcas, otters, sea lions, harbor seals & their pups, and puffins! The boat driver was great and slowed the boat when there were whales/wildlife sightings. We got super lucky with a great weather day and calm waters. Overall, 100% worth the money- book the trip! Some logistics: - the boat we took was comfortable and had indoor seating with windows and small outdoor decks in both the front/back of boat. There is also a small bathroom on the boat. - Around 2 hour boat ride from Seward to the glacier, extremely scenic ride with tons of opportunities for wildlife spotting! - Briefing and gear promptly at 8:30 am, out to the boat by 9am. Came back to shore 5:30 pm. - Booked reservation with a friend and we were automatically placed in a double shared kayak - Dry bags are provided to store your items while on the kayak. They also had a few waterproof phone pouches to loan out, but their supply seemed limited. If you have your own, bring it! - Lunch was provided on this trip (food chosen in advance at booking) but bring your own water/snacks - Shoes are irrelevant because they provide you with required special soft sided waterproof boots to wear on the trip. Wear thick, warm socks for maximum warmth - Offered waterproof jackets/pants to borrow but not required to wear. The jacket/pants were lightweight, definitely prepare with your own warmer layers underneath - Bring gloves and a hat. They do provide mits for your hands while kayaking, but I appreciated having my own gloves while out on the boat deck - Cubbies provided in the shop to store your personal items (like shoes) while out on the trip Overall fantastic experience! Highly recommend.

Mike was an incredible guide for our kayaking adventure at Aialik glacier with Tanners assistance too. He was very knowledgeable About the whole ecosystem, wildlife and glacier which made this a special trip. I loved his focus on safety too which helped some newer kayakers like me feel comfortable. 11/10 for Mike and Liquid Adventures. Thanks!
