I can't recommend this enough! The bikes are top notch, the service was amazing, and just the whole experience of coasting on an ebike while taking your time to enjoy the sights like the high trestle bridge was fantastic.

I originally came to Iowa to check out a railcart thing in Boone, but this easily stole the show and we pretty much talked about how fun the bikes were the entire time we were in the railcars.

FYI there's a few stops before and after the bridge you can go to for a snack or a beer. So yeah, you can have a bar crawl experience on the bikes.

I reserved a bike from Local Spokes today to do a family bike ride from Slater to Huxley for lunch and a treat. They explained how to use the bike very thoroughly. They provided a helmet and directions if we needed them. The bike was so easy to ride and I loved the assist it gave me during the 12 miles. I will definitely make another reservation in the future and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fun adventure. Thank you Local Spokes for making such a fun day easy!

Originally from Iowa but living in Arizona we were unable to bring our bikes along this trip but wanted to ride and luckily we found Local Spokes. Very friendly, convenient, accommodating, and rent great equipment! Enjoyed our day of riding and exploring and will use them again when back for our next visit and ride!

E-bike DSM from Slater kind of day! What a great experience and perfect day! We rode 70 miles and had battery left! Emily was great to work with! The trails are wonderful all through the area. E-bikes were great on hills and made the wind a zero factor! Local Spokes is the way to go!!!

Had an amazing experience with Local Spokes. I showed up without a reservation and they literally brought an employee in just so myself and family could get out on to the High Trestle Trail. I can't say enough great things about them. The trail was perfect and we all loved it. Thanks again for going above and beyond for us.

The owners were extremely friendly and very informative as where to go, places to see and places to stop and get something to eat. Would definitely recommend renting from them. Such nice people. Great, well maintained e-bikes and family friendly service. We came back from Colorado to see the Cyclones and decided to ride to the High Trestle Bridge and beyond. It was great! We highly recommend Local Spokes, unless you are a Hawkeye fan as you do not deserve happiness. 😉
