Bit of a mix, but it's undeniable that their long history has made their game selection a force to be reckoned with. They had lots of CIB games and some rare accessories and console variants all along the wall. It's fun to go in and browse even if you don't find anything. The prices are a bit on the higher end for their rarer titles, but nothing outrageous. The customer service is also fine. They're willing to work with you to find what you're looking for. Some of the games could use a bit of a clean though. I bought a couple Game Boy games and discovered some dead moths when I unscrewed them to check the battery. They'll do basic troubleshooting if you need it, too. Had some friends and family come in and they've all been happy with their purchases.

Great store truly. Remember that unless you need a new release(and when I say that I mean brand new) you go to a mom and pop shop like this. They helped me get closer to playing every Sonic game and completed my collection of Arkham Games

Retro video game store with alot of variety and selection especially for older 4th/5th/6th gen consoles. Why the big selection see my answer below?

Why the 3 stars - prices tend to be on the higher end compared to current market value.

Plenty of CIB Nes/Snes/n64 on shelves but they sit because for the prices.

There are deals to be had just know or lookup comp prices to see if it’s worth the price for you.

Otherwise, good store with a lot of selection marred by above market prices.

He was very knowledgeable on the video games and had some interesting takes on the pokemon games

I didn’t appreciate Pokemon black and white version until recently because when it dropped i didn’t know how to appreciate it.

This is probably going to be my go to retro spot that’s for sure!

bad customer service, tried to talk to the staff twice and got ignored, items have no price, instant red flag. might as well go to ebay, fb marketplace or even gamestop.

I’m giving this place 3 stars based off of 2 different interactions I had. My first time visiting was great. I collect PSP movies which are fairly niche and difficult to find but M&M had a huge selection and since I lived so far away I was looking to take as much as I could. I ended up spending somewhere within $200+ on a huge stack of UMD Video and was super happy with the customer service, patience, and price that I experienced. However that was a few months ago. I went back again yesterday to see if they had more UMD in stock and they had 2 that I wanted. A sealed Monster House at $26 which seemed a little high but it was sealed so I understand, and Transporter 2 with no price tag. When the (I assume owner, who was present for my first visit and remembered me after a minute) looked for the price on eBay he couldn’t find any results and assumed that it must be rare if he couldn’t find any results so he said the price was $40. A completely made up number from the ether. I’ve collected these movies for a little over a year and I knew Transporter 2 was not rare or expensive so i did an eBay search and find 5 or so results for around $7 a piece. He was confused so did a bit more searching on eBay and said he was seeing results of sellers asking for $15 and that’s what he wanted to sell it for. The deal just wasn’t going to work and I left for another store. I’d like to say that maybe it was just an off day, both visits juxtapose each other so much that I’m not entirely certain where the shop actually stands in my eyes. Hard to say if I’ll visit again

The employee did not want to show me a game from the glass case. How would a customer buy a game that the employees are unwilling to grab from the case? Makes zero sense.
