The river flows here create a great spring, summer, and fall experience. Float down in tube's, rafts, canoes, or kayaks. Caution should be used as it is a river and not an amusement park. Lifejackets should be required items for entering the water.
Many whitewater kayakers use the river, if you want to know more about whitewater kayaking stop by and ask.
Changing rooms / bathrooms located at the shelter. Air compressor for blowing up inner tube's or floating devices. This is all open in spring summer and fall. Nice walking path from start to finish. Swing benches at the top of the river.
Would love to organize to clean up the other side of the river for a more sightly view when using the benches.
My daughters use the river to get use to moving current and actually learned to swim here.
Be aware of the river and conditions as they change without warning

What a jewel. Beautiful, pleasant, safe place. Bathrooms, place to sit and charge my phone, picnic (Burger King next door), there are even loaner safety vests if the kids want go down and explore the waters edge. Sit in the sun or in the shade of a covered picnic table. Good job Manchester, what a perfect park.

Lovely place for kids to play. They have musical instruments on the walking trails. They have showers outside ro rinse off. They have cascading rapidity tube or kayak down. We did see 4 snakes though so be careful. There's small beach area.
