We had an absolutely amazing time trekking on the Matanuska glacier all thanks to our awesome guide Quinn! Right from the start it was clear that he was super prepared and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding environment. He answered any and all questions and gave us great tips on how to safely navigate and climb the glacier. He took the time to meet all our needs, made sure we all felt good about it, and ensured we hit all the best spots on the glacier. The views and ice formations were incredible! Quinn was also so fun and easy-going. He made the whole trek really enjoyable. Thanks for the amazing experience!

One of the most cool experiences I've ever had! My husband and I were complete beginners. We had no idea what we were doing.
Our guide, Thomas, was amazing at teaching and pushing us to take full advantage of the experience. Thomas was safe, knowledgeable, inspiring, and really fun to spend the day with. He put us in a position to push ourselves both mentally and physically, which I loved. We also got some killer shots. I'd love to do it again someday!

Had the most amazing time with guides Hannah and Connor in the back country! I won’t lie, I was a little nervous about an advanced hike but had the most fun of my life!! Hannah and Connor also helped ease my nerves and were there with a hand to help, words of encouragement, and lots of interesting information about the glaciers!!! I could not recommend this tour more!

This was an awesome tour. Dakota was our guide and he was super nice, outgoing, and truly matched our energy of fun. He had plenty of knowledge to share, personalized our tour based on what we wanted to do/see, and kept us safe!
We even got a nice rear-view of the glacier!!

The Matanuska glacier hike was AMAZING! Our guides Dillon and Lizzy were fantastic! They were great at explaining all of the interesting facts about the glacier and showed us many features. The views were stunning and unlike anything this Florida girl has ever seen. Dillon knew this glacier inside and out! They were both great with our two teenagers and held their attention so well. They definitely focused on safety too, which I greatly appreciated. We had shoe spikes that assisted in fall prevention. Nobody fell! On the hillside, we saw a moose with her two babies. On the glacier itself, we saw a spider…that was surprising! Believe it or not, the sun is strong so pack water and sunscreen. I highly recommend this tour!

Our experience with Mica Guides was amazing! My family and I did the private all day ice climbing tour. Our guides, Daniel and Hak were incredibly patient with our 10 and 12 year old boys! None of us had ever ice climbed before and they really tailored the experience to our needs. I would highly recommend this experience and this company! It was one of the highlights of our Alaskan trip!

Shout out to MICA Guides with a solid 5+ star experience. Truly an amazing adventure. We are experienced climbers on water ice and we wanted a unique climbing experience. Our guide, Julian, is totally top notch. He is very smart, personable, safety aware, and patient. He will do whatever he can to make you feel comfortable and safe. This guy is really incredible. Because of our climbing experience, we wanted to do something a little more technical than just climbing a flat wall. He knew all of the best spots and even brought us to a moulin, which was on our list. I highly recommend this guide service. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Well done. One of the greatest experiences of our lives. ? Julian, you are a rare breed. Keep crushing the walls of life!
