My son and I love visiting MopTop & Beardie! The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The store is clean, organized, and has ample play space. There are always a games of Magic The Gathering or Dungeons and Dragons going on as well as other activities like Smash Bros tournaments or Warhammer 40k. Great place for kids and adults to spend time.

If you love magic the gathering then this is the place for you a great selection plus they always have good tournaments I love coming here to they are very family friendly they also deal with other stuff such as d&d , Pokemon. Highly recommend over any other shop in Macon.

I just hope the new owners know that I never would have done to them what they did to me. I guess that's why it hurts so much. I asked him to take care of the refunds or get people their product. He said he would take care of it. We never locked down the specifics of how he was supposed to take care of it. If it had been me I would have given people their refunds as the new owner. He gave me a little over 3 thousand dollars for the square cash register, store fixtures, chairs, and a good bit of product. He didn't tell me that was his way of taking care of the refunds. I was behind on my house, car, and power bills. I didn't abscond with bags of cash. I just wanted the store to carry on being a good place. I hope it is. If you ever met me you should know the rumors you've heard aren't true. You should know me better than that if you ever visited Beyond Gaming. I only wanted people to be the best versions of themselves. I always tried to give the same of myself. I'm disappointed in the betrayal I experienced at your hands. You had a chance to support me but decided to shun me based on what you heard instead of the person you knew me to be. Justin (Atomic Gaming) was upset because he wanted to help me keep the business or give him the cash register. I knew I couldn't continue to run the business the way I wanted it to run because of the problems I was having in my personal life. I really expected you to help me up. I wish you had believed in me. I'm sorry for the resentment I harboured against you. It was wrong if you turn your back on me but it probably felt like the right thing to do at the time. I wouldn't have ever done that to you. The proof is in how I got here. Maybe it's a huge character flaw but the woman I tried to help was self destructive and I tried to pull her up. She didn't stop being self destructive, she just decided to take me down with her. The truth about what happened is here if you ever want to hear it. Very few people ever asked. Easier to believe the rumors I guess. Just hope the store is a good inclusive community for good people. That was the goal.

I absolutely LOVE Moptop! (That’s what my family calls it for short)
It’s kid friendly and the owners are super chill and the business support many different interests.
My kids love Pokémon and the switch. I love going there for Magic the Gathering or just general hang out time.
It’s great for connecting with those in our local community.
The building is next to my favorite Asian market and my favorite nail salon so all my go to’s are in one place now!
Def recommend stopping by here and getting to know everyone 🙂

Over all the store is stellar in design an pure simplicity of the layout. The employees are a absolute pleasure to work with and do exchanges with reson has been more than insightful and helpful for other people looking to expand knowledge into this field. The amount of thing they have for your kid to do is insane from switches to board games. Not to mention pokemon he is helping revamp a pokemon deck of mine. So 10/10 would highly recommend to parents with kids that want to share a bonding moment with.

MopTop and Beardie has so much for all gamers! Beginner classes for people wanting to learn how to play and then games for people who are more advance. The owners are personable and make everyone feel welcomed!

I don't trust any business that's closed on Mondays. But if you can get past this shady practice you'll find it's actually a really nice store run by friendly people.
