My mother sister and I did the alpine ski lodge. We are ages 47, 50 and 76. We had a wonderful time. It was so much fun and absolutely not easy. We laughed so hard often. This was the best experience. We thought jasmine was awesome and we will definitely be going back. I want to bring my whole family. This was so worth it and I’d say if you’re up in big bear go and try an escape room you won’t be sorry. Thank you Mountain Room Escape we so appreciate you.

We did two of their escape rooms, and both were unique and well put together. The puzzles were intuitive but not overly easy - though I think having a large party sped it up.
Our host, Jasmine, was kind, personable, and a genuine pleasure. They also have a gift shop with hand-crafted items and a lot of puzzle themed things, which was a nice touch. They had a used book shelf too, which is near and dear to my heart.
Overall, there were so many things that made this escape room unique, and I’m excited to see what else they offer.

We were visiting for Christmas week, we reserved a spot for 10 a.m. we got there early to do the waivers. Jasmine helped us, she was very sweet and helpful. We started right on time, I loved how it was just us 4 doing the challenge. We had a great time. We did use our free clue plus 1 addtl. We made it out with 17 min to spare.

There are fun items you can buy. I definitely recommend if you are in the area. Great for groups. They have parking right in front of building.

My family and I came here for the first time today to celebrate my husbands birthday and this was his first experience doing an escape room along with my two grandchildren. I have to say this was one of the best experiences we have had up here on the mountain! The atmosphere was so amazing and our game master was incredibly talented and so much fun ! RECOMMEND 100 % ! You won’t regret it ! We will be back !

Wonderful experience with Leyla and Matt(apologies if I got the names wrong) but had the most fun in an escape room ever here. Incredibly friendly staff, let us start way after we were supposed to start as we had so much fun talking with the staff and perusing their little shop. Next time we’re in Big Bear, we will definitely attempt another challenge with them. Could not recommend them more. 10 stars out of 5.

Super fun room. Also super hard especially with two kids lol. Only choose inventors workshop if you’re cool calm collected and clever! The owners are passionate and super cool. We will be back!

Our family of 8 (My husband and I, our kids, and their bf's/gf's) booked the inventors workshop as we were driving up, since we had an hour wait for our house to be ready, we thought it would the absolute perfect way to fill the time. From the second we walked through the door Matt and Leah were so friendly and welcoming, the area outside the room was filled with the absolute cutest novelty items! The room itself was a true challenge with so many intricate details within it, we had a so much deciphering each clue, and we were shocked by the size of the escape! We ended up escaping with 23 mins remaining, using only our free clue. I think this was only because of how well our group worked together and each of us had different strengths, because the room was definitely a well thought out challenge! We will definitely be back again and recommending stopping by to our friends and family!
