The desk clerk who claimed he was the owner insisted they had no rooms and simply hung up on us. Called back and asked for a manager (full Karen style admittedly) and he hung up again. I've driven past this establishment multiple times over the last 5 years. They are almost always absolutely vacant.

UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Very rude service! Soon as I walked in my room all I could smell was urine. Our sheets were covered in stains and the front desk refused to swap them out saying “they were clean”!! I couldn’t walk out my door without smelling marijuana which is highly unacceptable when you have two babies with you. Also, there was this creepy homeless man, hovering around the parking lot and was leaving things by this young lady’s door who also had children, and really had her worried. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will be contacting the health department first thing in the morning and notify them of the roach problem and the mold inside of the rooms. After touring Mount Vernon we decided to have a late lunch. The Inn was busy and we didn't have a reservation so we put our name on the wait list and walked around the adjacent gift shop. We were accommodated in about a half hour. The dining room we were in was very nice and my husband ordered a green tomato BLT sandwich and I ordered a macaroni and cheese skillet ( actually an appetizer). As we both asked for water, the waiter placed a glass bottle with a top that snapped closed on our table and replenished it with another bottle when it was almost empty. He enjoyed his sandwich that came with homemade potato chips and my choice was a rich and very cheesey baked mac and cheese with toasted breadcrumbs. It was delicious but I just couldn't finish it! It was a nice experience.

The room was clean however the bathroom walls had paint peeling and what appeared to be mold. We took 4 groups with us. One groups room had roaches. All rooms had burn marks on tubs, counter tops, and sinks. Had to ask for clean towels as maids didn't even come by the rooms. No drink machines. No ice machines. Refrigerators half worked. Lobby closed early and opened late. Trash sat in the parking lot all week scattered on the ground. Advertised 48 bucks a night online when I arrived it was 176.00 for 2 nights.

They tried. Beds had clean sheets, but the room(s) had a strong odor I didn't recognize. My wife said it was marijuana. Some of the furniture was threadbare and worn. There was trash strewn about the parking lot, but this was after a rough wind/rainstorm.

Service was excellent, they need more people to keep the place up.

Worst place I've ever stayed at!!! When we entered our room we were greeted by the scent of urine and the sight of water damage and cockroaches crawling everywhere, resulting in killing at least ten in the first 10 minutes. Once we called the office we were moved to a different room in about 30 minutes, we started to do a quick search and thought we were safe, little did we know that the beds were infested with bedbugs and ticks, it was horrifying. Once we finally calmed down enough to think we were moved again to a room filled with the smell of weed, filled with cockroaches it ended up with some of us sleeping in the car! I don't recommend staying here it's not worth the terrible experience.

This motel stink so bad. Smells musty. Water was cold and informed owner. He said, "your problem not mine." Horrible service. If you are in this area, drive the 10 miles to Vidalia. The towels were dirty. Ended up buying towels across the street at the dollar store.
