Called ahead to see if they might be interested in some Pokemon and anime figurines that I had. They said to bring them in and they would take a look..
(I had several totes of the Pokemon and anime)

Brought them in and after a few seconds of glancing over my items, they tell me they weren't interested. They would only be interested in certain items. I had the certain items they were looking for. Had they taken 1 min to look at them, they would have seen them in there.

Drove 30+ mins out of my way to come to Nine8. I was the only customer in there and arrived well before closing. I would have appreciated better customer service instead of a wasted trip..

I called in earlier to sell some bulk and they said they do take the bulk. Rate: $5 per 1000 cards. I drove 20 miles just to find out that they are SELECTIVE about bulk? Bulk is bulk, it’s either you buy it or not. I really wasted a hour of my life when I could have gone to my local card shop around the corner.

Very nice, kind and patient with newer/ returning magic players. Clean shop, fun atmosphere and overall really good people.
Will shop/play there again!

Came in the other day too check out the stock. Owners and staff are very nice. Ilike the environment. 3 star is mainly because of pricing is inflated. I think as a consumer or a new player who wants to get into card games, 8 dollar Ultra pros is wild. I'd say call in advance for pricing before you make you way in. Sad to say this but I ended buying my stuff at target.

Hazel Sunshine Hall

This was a nice shop. It had 4 tables to play on, super clean, and had a little bit of everything. I went in specifically for pokemon cards but they answered my questions about magic the gathering very well and informatively. They had a case of singles pokemon cards and the rest of their bulk singles are purchased through their website and they'll put together your order for you rather quickly. Based on my experience, their bulk had a lot of variation but there wasn't many of it (a limited supply).

TLDR; small space, limited stock, but they have something for everyone 🙂

Great experiences all around here, recently found out about them and just got back into magic after decades. The staff is very helpful and willing to answer questions I had about specific sets and even explain mechanics in commander decks that I was unclear on before purchasing. Makes me feel welcome in the hobby after my long hiatus.
Will be my first stop whenever I go out to buy from now on.

Nine8 is a great trading card and comic shop, a perfect addition to the neighborhood! I attended a Friday night draft where Chris and Allan cultivated a fun Magic the Gathering environment for players of all levels. Their friendly and knowledgeable customer service made me feel welcome and comfortable. I look forward to many more game nights and wish them success as their business blossoms!

Small but well run. Good selection of sealed TCG product, comic books, and graphic novels, especially given that it's a small shop. Has a lot of older D&D books, including some hard to find complete sets. I am sure it will grow even stronger.

There are four tables to play, TCGs, RPGs, and board games, and I often play there on Sundays. The shopping center has a lot of restaurants nearby and that makes it an even better place to meet and play.

I don't buy a lot of TCG singles, so I don't have a lot to say about it, but the case looks good.

Definitely kid friendly.
