The less people, the better. I recommend you to go on weekends, specially friday, sat and sun morning. Even though you ask politely, most of people in this gym don't like to share. Besides that, it is a nice building with not too much equipment. There are not enough strength zones with free weights, but they have like 12 or more treadmills. Air conditioner is great when you don't want to run outside. I use it just because it is included.

I'm sad that the mask policy is barely enforced the first floor. I just signed up as a community member because I thought UA would do a better job of enforcing their own masks policies. Probably 1/2 of the guys working out around me had their masks under their chin the whole 45 min I was there.

The new north rec is very convenient for more students who are going to classes at north campus. The facilities inside are all new and nice. Inside design is good too.

The UArizona Covid-19 testing here is quick and convenient. Park in lot 1172 for free and it's a quick <5 minute walk to the center. Quick check-in and self-test and it's done. The whole process is <10 minutes.

Much easier to get to if you live north of speedway. Plenty of places to work out on either of the three floors.

Not as many machines as there need to be for the amount of sweaty college children.

I really like this place, but I think it should have more equipment for legs. I recommend this place to my friends.

UA rec is just not a place to have productive workouts.
