Off the Hook Charters-Captain Hunter was amazing! I took my two boys (ages 9 and 11) and they had an absolute blast! I have been on a lot of private charters in the Gulf— from Mexico to Florida and our experience with Hunter was BY FAR THE BEST CHARTER I have been on. Hunter made the trip for the boys so much fun. He had all the “spots” and we absolutely slammed the red snapper. We had our limits of big red snapper in the blink of an eye. It was almost too easy lol… instant hook ups immediately on the drop of the bait! When the bite cooled off after landing a pile we would motor a short distance away to another one of his spots and resume the slam fest. We were tripled up most of the time and Hunter and his first mate were flying helping the boys land fish and get re-baited. It was wild to watch! I had to reel up and stop fishing just so I could get pics and video of the boys and the snapper they were landing. I have never had a captain hustle like Hunter did...nowhere even close! Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable he had an awesome personality and the boys loved him. He played awesome music and the relaxed feel made it seem like we had known him for years. He will work with whatever pace you or your kids are up for. We will absolutely use Hunter on our next trip without question. If you want to flat out catch fish, learn a bunch and have the best time you have ever had on a charter and make memories that will last a lifetime…. Off The Hook Charters- Captain Hunter is your guy!

Captain Perry had us on fish all day from the start of our trip. Caught our limit of snapper along with a Spanish Mackerel, a King Mackerel, and a very nice sized Cobia. I strongly recommend this group to anyone looking for a great fishing charter. FYI, another boat came in while we were at the fish cleaning station (Captains clean your fish), they had over 200lbs of fish. Great day!!! Thanks Captain Perry!!!?

4 Hr Snapper Run with Caption Sawyer was great!! Our 8 year old little boy had never been on a charter before and I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. He was a little nervous going out so Sawyer went to one of the closer fishing spots first. After he got his line in the water he was ready to go fishing. Sawyer was very patient and helped him anyway he could. He helped all of us giving us advice on what to do, baiting our lines, and helping us reel our fish in if we needed it. 3 adults and 1 child around the boat and we all were pulling snapper in. Every spot we stopped at the snapper was there and biting. My little boy has already asked if we could go out again on our fall break trip.

My husband and I had never been deep sea fishing before although we go to the Alabama Gulf Coast every year. This time we decided to do it. We picked Off The Hook and Captain Perry was the best. I am NOT good with any of it and he was great! We had a blast and caught a mess of fish to take back home. Reannon his wife was super nice with my many calls and questions. We’re making this an annual tradition!!

We had such a great time. Perry was a wonderful guide. He was very good with kids. They talked a lot about how calm he was on our drive back from the trip. We caught shark and the kids loved it. It did my soul good to get out on the water.

Had capt perry but was switched to captain saywer. Was a great captain got us on some fish had 3 keepers and a 5 or 6 toss backs, but even the little ones make you yell, "Get the net!" Was a great time. This was my second time using off the hook and will book again, no doubt. Super kid friendly and made my son feel apart of everything letting him scoop bait and reel in the hooked fish. 100/10 experience

Captain Perry Davis is very knowledgeable, personable, and great with kids. He was able to keep my teenage grandson off his phone and actively engaged with fishing. We had a great time and caught fish. Grandson said “he had a great time” and he didn’t want to go! Wish we had accompanied him on the bait catching adventure. Seems most clients don’t like this and he didn’t know we would want to do this. Next year we are going out earlier to experience this adventure too.
