Sean was a fantastic host and guide. We really enjoyed the tour and had a wonderful time. The kayaking trip posed some challenges because of the Labor Day holiday and the bustling activity on the lake, but Sean took great care of the group.

As an added bonus, Sean offered us great advice for maximizing the rest of our spontaneous trip, and it truly surpassed our expectations.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Sean was amazing, helping everyone in our group, taking pictures and telling stories. I would say this trip is moderate intensity just because you are on the water for more than 2 hours. The water is super calm (we had almost no wind) and paddling is a lot of fun! You will also hike the canyon!!!!! The nature around you is surreal! Highly recommend. If you're thinking about taking a kayak tour- Paddle Express is the place, and Sean is your guy!

I took a kayaking and swimming tour with my family here and it was truly an amazing experience. Our tour guide was very friendly and super knowledgeable. He made sure everyone on the tour had a great time. Most of the group had never kayaked before so he gave us a quick lesson before heading into the water. I can’t stress how fun this tour was. This tour is a must. Do not skip it.

Wow what a trip! We had a great time seeing the slot canyons, kayaking, hiking and enjoying a snack break.
We were a small group -Sean-our guide and one other couple. We did the 11am tour and the sun peaked in at perfect times. We were briefed on safety and fitted with our life vests-each two person kayak is given a wet bag for your valuables but you can bring along a backpack, keep in mind-contents will get a bit wet from your paddling. Not drenched. We kept our clothes in a plastic bag in the backpack and it was ok. Your feet get wet but no biggie you can dangle them out the boat and dry in minutes. The kayaks are sturdy but we did see someone tip while getting in so be careful. Once you’re on the water it feels safe. Some motor boats do go by and cause a bit of waves but it added life to the vibrant water of Lake Powell.

Like you’re being bombarded all day with historic facts. It felt like spending the afternoon with your buddy who knows the area and history of the formations really well. He gave a great hands on demo of how the canyon came to be that is simple to understand. He will
Answer if you ask your questions but really it was just a low key, soul pleasing and pleasant day.
Tips: Bring water with some electrolytes added, a little towel to sit on if your seat gets wet, EAT breakfast, pee first, be in good enough shape to walk a mile or so and you’ll have a great time!
I highly recommend this tour-We are a couple In our 50’s and didn’t find it too tough. It was the highlight of our trip!
Oh one other thing Waze brought us to the wrong place to launch-put “antelope point launch ramp” into Google maps instead and arrive one half hour before your trip so you are ready to all leave on time.

Mega tolles Highlight auf unserer USA -Reise. . Sean , unser Guide , war sehr umsichtig , erklärte viel und sehr verständlich und schützte uns vor der Klapperschlange . Es war in einer kleinen Gruppe unglaublich schön. Insgesamt 5 Meilen paddeln und ca 3 Meilen „wandern“ vergingen sehr schnell . Für die Weiterreise hatte Sean noch viele tolle Tips .
Die Tour ist sehr zu empfehlen .

Sean was very nice and the kayaks were awesome! We got two sit inside kayaks for four hours and it was the perfect amount of time to check out the canyon. Sean's instructions were very helpful and it was so nice to be able to go right off the boat ramp and into the water. We'd recommend Paddle Express and next time we're in Lake Powell, we'll definitely book with Sean again. Thank you!
