It was my first time golfing and it's really a pretty place to do it! The setting is lovely and we enjoyed playing 9 holes then walking back. I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I'd like to come back and play more.

They host a great tournament.
Alaska State Home Builders has an annual event, and despite the near constant rain, it was a GREAT day.
Really wet, but little wind. The course is in great shape and staff were great.

The driving range is reasonably price. The attendant just gave us some irons when we asked-so not sure. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The course has gorgeous views and watching the parade of planes take off while playing makes this course a real adventure.

Nice links style public course. Great view of mountains and Glacier on clear day. Green fees fairly priced, although club rental is on the expensive side.

Fun course with just the right amount of challenges. Carts are clean and well serviced. The staff is polite and knowledgeable!

Buddy rented a set of clubs, it didn’t even have a driver! Then we were kicked out because of a noise complaint when he was on course to break 100 and yelled from excitement. Just unacceptable customer service. Also carts are outdated. Not coming back sadly because the course itself is ok but greens definitely need to be maintained, half of them are dog sheet.

I’m a former scratch golfer and find this to be a fun course with mostly great people except the good ol boys club in the clubhouse need a major overhaul. The majority are rude and not accepting of anyone besides their buddies. Disgraceful for Palmer and the growth of the sport with women and younger generations. These guys will also always try to close the course 30 minutes earlier than the official Facebook, course website, or the cart kids tell you. I live within sight of the course so I regrettably got a season pass, but I’d rather go elsewhere than get criticized every time I see the course is empty at 8pm and I try to go walk a few holes. I can’t get my friends to play here anymore and I don’t blame them.

Had a horrible experience here today and won’t be returning. We secured a tee time for four players, rented one set of clubs, carts and bought beer. Overall, spent a ton of money. The course marshal, for some reason, immediately honed in on our group and stalked and harassed us for the first 8 holes, complaining that we weren’t moving fast enough even though we were moving at a very quick pace. He then got loud and aggressive when I relented that we were moving at a perfectly fine pace and that we didn’t appreciate his demeanor. He continued to rush our group because he was so concerned about impressing the group behind us even though we are paying customers just as much as they are. He complained that we weren’t playing best ball, but when I asked him if the group behind us was playing best ball, he said no. I should reiterate that we were not holding anyone up the whole time. He then threatened to have the course superintendent throw us off the course; to which I replied “then I can be offered a refund” and he stated that we already played 11 holes so we wouldn’t get a refund.

Overall, the marshal made this experience incredibly frustrating and unenjoyable. I’ve never been rushed so rudely in my life at any other course.
