I use the gym and pool here and the gym in North Webster. The facilities are great at both. Also very clean. It is great to see people of all ages enjoying the YMCA

I love coming here. There are people complaining about diversity. It’s a very diverse place. So it must be the time said person comes. I use the indoor track frequently. There are so many basic complaints by others like there aren’t other facilities in town they could utilize instead of crapping on the one place that offers way more than any other place in town.

Wow! I grew up in Warsaw on my family's plan but really took it for granted, I always liked it but now coming back as an adult and especially soon to be single mama there's so many great programs they offer! Child care, diabetes prevention, swim classes, CPR certification, a lot! Definitely going to be taking advantage of them.
Also like that they have snacks and drinks for sale too, I always forget my water so it's nice to know I can buy Gatorade or something once I get there.
I do wish the showers were a bit nicer, sometimes they're not the cleanest (can we please not leave globs of our hair behind people?) and the soap dispensers are out.
Absolutely love the pool though, and that they have a pool for laps and a warm water pool, for other things.

The rudest YMCA I have ever been to, I’ve come so many times and used ymcas all across the country, no where else have I been bothered so much by staff over non-issues, the staff members who bother guests are clearly the ones who do not use gym equipment or care for their health or bodies either. Just a shame, I love the Y’s but this Warsaw Y is such a terrible representation of the whole.

I have been coming to the Warsaw YMCA for a few years and have always enjoyed lifting weights and swimming. My winter goal in the pool was always to hit a mile. This is a good goal for me as I am not the best swimmer. This all changes for me. My husband and I have scuba diving for 32 years all over the Caribbean with our dive friend. It’s always the first week of November. Our last day , last dive for the week I ended up getting decompression sickness. We got flown to mercy hospital in Miami where I ended up with total body paralysis. It turned into a stroke. I was in the decompression chambers for eight days 5 1/2 hours each day. Where you could not drink or eat or move. This was extremely hard for me. This has been one of the hardest things for me to go through. We are now back home in Warsaw where I am going to occupational therapy twice a week and doing my exercises three times a day. This week I felt good enough to start going to the YMCA. Tuesday I lifted. The feeling I had lifting weights is hard to explain. Just two months ago I had total paralysis all over my body. The YMCA in Warsaw makes me feel alive.It strengthens my soul as well as my physical body. Wednesday I swam. I was very apprehensive about swimming as I didn’t know how my left arm would do. The water and moving my arm was an amazing feeling for me. I will never take working out at the Y for granted anymore. I was in tears walking out the door. I give all the glory to God for my healing. My left arm is what I have to work on as it is my dominant arm. Thank you for letting me tell my story.

I have been to at least 10 different YMCA's and this one is by far the best. The equipment placement was thought out by someone who actually uses the equipment. The brand of equipment is by far my favorite, compared to the other brands as well. My only critique would be the deep cleaning, all walls, and the benches by lockers need magic eraser attention. The restrooms need a deep cleaning, floor grout, sinks and such. And I only say the con because this is my most favorite YMCA, I would like to keep going for a lifetime. 🙂

I love this place. I don’t really understand the negative comments. Come workout in the DC area and you will be thankful for this place. Friendly staff, large indoor running track, great pool area, nice gym with lots of lifting equipment, great space upstairs for independent work, class offerings…..what more could you want - unless you are a professional looking for really specific, nit picky stuff.

Great facility, terrific variety of machines and free weight options, great staff with excellent programs. The warm water pool and jacuzzi are wonderful after a strenuous workout. Showers and dressing areas are nice. Sometimes piggy guys who "never had a mom" mess it up but the staff tries to keep it clean. 😎
