Took my littles here today and it was so cool! It is a room and small but there’s plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained. There’s turtles and a snake and even toys to play with. My toddler loved it! We ended up being there for 1.5 hours. He wants to go back tomorrow lol. The lady working was also extremely nice, friendly and informative!

The district offered a two day paddling program for kids and both my girls loved it. Seriously such a nice thing to offer at no cost so kids can try something new. Awesome program and the instructors were nice and patient with the kids.

I would recommend calling ahead, to make sure they are open, if you are coming just to see the museum. Our 3 year old is obsessed with Turtles, so we knew he would love this place. We came on a Sunday around 2pm, when they open up at noon, just to find out they weren’t actually open. The front desk said that they received a message that the museum would be opening late today, but had no idea when someone would be there. It was already two hours past their opening time so I don’t know what late meant to them, but we left with a pretty upset toddler. Stinks because we came specifically for that. I’m only giving 3 stars because we were told about this museum by a friend who loved it and hopefully we can visit another day when they are open.

This is a lovely place; we went with my son's scout pack and the staff did a wonderful program about plant and animal life in this area (it was partially indoors and partially outdoors). I think all of the kids and parents really enjoyed it!
