Enjoyed our morning coffee watching the lazy river flow by. Absolutely beautiful campground with well maintained sites. All the sites are open to each other, but respectfully spaced. Great for group camping. Restroom/shower was immaculate & cheery. Hiking trails.
Leashed pets ok with owner responsible clean up expected. Very reasonable rates.

first time visiting the park and i was impressed. i was looking for a place where i could fish and my son could play and this place was perfect. we took a short walk along the river through the park and found a little spot where the kids could wade and plat for a few minutes. the park was very clean and well taken care of. my only suggestion would be a cpl trash cans by the playground next to the camping area. i picked up a bit of trash from the playground and had to walk quite a way to get to a trash can

Very nice camp grounds. Enjoyed our stay. The knats and mosquitoes were really bad, but that has nothing to do with the campsite.

Went to fish for a bit, saw several fish but didn't hook anything.
Found some fossils from 500 million years ago when illinois was covered by a shallow tropical sea

This is a really nice little campground. We tent camped there twice last summer. We met the greatest people at the campground as well as in town which is really close to the campground. The shower house is nice and clean but they could use updated latrens. We can’t wait for this summer and fall because we are definitely going back .

Nice park, go fishing, camping, picnics and playground for children.its a large park along the river in Prophetstown Illinois. Dog friendly as long as you keep your animals on a leash

It was awesome time except for the shower house being dirty dirty never been that way before very dissatisfied other than the shower house it was a great time great fishing great people

Smaller state park. Good for some fishing and a quick camp.
