The beds were hard and stiff as a board. Weird noises from fridge all night. The rooms were hard to control temp wise it was either too hot or too cold. The neighboring room had their whole AC and heat go out. Our room keys deactivated and we were locked out of our room. Hardly anyone was there but the girl said she was swamped and couldn't bring us extra towels we would have to go ourselves and get them. The view is of the parking lot. And walmart parking lot. Can barely fit in the tiny bathrooms. The pool was cold. The hot tub felt like a warm bath and the ladders to get out are so rusted and gross u don't even want to use them. The breakfast was horrible it was steamed sausages and steamed eggs. The orange juice has so much pulp in it and the coffee was just nasty. It was a very displeasing experience. I'd never recommend anybody to stay here everything was so cheap and basic it was not a bang for your buck or a pleasant stay. I don't think it could have been any worse

This has been our go-to hotel for every visit to Waverly. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. It is a slightly older hotel but is always clean and well-maintained and works well for our family. We enjoy using the pool and hot tub. I have noticed recent cosmetic updates to the lobby area so it's nice to see that they are continuing to improve the property. I believe there is only one set of connecting rooms so be sure to request that set of rooms promptly if needed. It is right next to WalMart, convenience stores and a couple of restaurants so it is very convenient for quick runs to any of those areas.

Run don't walk away from this place! Upon check in, our AC in our room was off. Inquired and was told the management does not allow AC to be on in unoccupied rooms. Even in common areas the temperature was quite warm. Was not offered another room only a box fan. It wasn't a matter of it not working it is that they are too cheap to turn it on and down. Husband said the pool was ok . I chose not to go in as it didn't appear that clean to me. Everything else was mediocre. I emailed the general manager and never received any response. Which I expected as he knows his practices are wrong. "Quality" doesn't mean what it used to.

Visited July 26, 2024. Very clean inside and out. The staff was very nice and helpful. Location was great. Close to shopping and restaurants. I was allowed to check in early because the room was ready when I got there in the morning, which I really appreciated. This was my 2nd time staying there and I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this hotel. The beds and bedding... amazing!

Good room at a good price. Breakfast as expected. Pool and hot were clean and not crowded. Filled the bill nicely for five nights stay.

Good value for the money. Breakfast was good and the place is clean. My grand baby really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Fridge in the room, multiple outlets, AC/heat, TV with remote, quiet. Small desk and chair. Friendly staff. In Walmart parking lot - very close shopping nearby. Only a couple minor complaints:

1. They think they’re saving money by providing 1 ply toilet paper. For reasons I won’t mention, I can assure them that they are not saving money on this. The bathrooms are TINY.

2. To get to the rooms after going up the stairs/elevator, you have to open a heavy door and there’s no auto button. This is a pain when you’re carrying groceries, kids, and luggage. Not sure how people who are handicapped manage this. This was probably my number one complaint. They really should just remove the door.

3. The room key does not always unlock the back door. Huge pain when it’s freezing cold and you’re trying to get into the hotel with a toddler.

4. The beds are okay but not great. They could use better mattresses that have a bit more support.

Other than those things, it was a nice stay. We will stay there again on our next visit.

Basic room, but very clean. I base this on the fact I never found hair belonging to a prior guest and the sheets looked clean. I have no complaints about my stay and I would stay here again. Can't beat the location and price if you need to stay in Waverly.
