Had an absolute blast! I got to play all the escape rooms here and I think Resurrection and Warlocked are my upmost favorite. Ky and Sam are absolutely amazing gamemasters and really made my day!

I've done almost all the escape rooms at this location (I'm saving Warlocked for my D&D party!) and I absolutely love them! The puzzles are challenging but fair, and the game masters are fun and friendly. (I've played rooms run by Kaelah, Jason, and AJ so far.) The rooms are immersive and detailed. Very high quality production and design, as you'd want and expect from an escape room this close to Hollywood. Questroom always goes the extra mile, and every experience has pleasantly surprised me with additional intricacies and plot twists I wasn't expecting. I don't want to give anything away (and I won't), but for anyone wondering what room is right for them:

Kablam! is perfect for kids and families. (Although my dad and I, both adults, had a great time as well!) Puzzles put communication, physicality, and outside-the-box thinking to the test. Even your most rambunctious kiddos will be tired out after this one! Even though I won't be able to run through it since I know all the answers to the puzzles, I'm going to recommend this one to my sister, brother-in-law, and 8-year-old nephew next time they swing through town. My one caveat for this one (and if you want to go in completely cold, go ahead and skip to the next section) is there are some puzzles that are based on colors — my dad is colorblind, so I had to take the lead on those ones. There is plenty to do in this room for people who aren't colorblind, but I thought it was important to mention. Even so, the Game Masters are great at giving hints that don't reveal the full solution, so I have no doubt you'll have fun regardless!

Polar Station was more like a lot of other escape rooms I've done. A tad bit chilling (I'm so sorry) without being full-on horror. Puzzles will require all of your observational and critical thinking skills. While the other rooms I've played relied on a combination of puzzle-solving and either physicality or courage, this room is pure puzzle goodness. The puzzles are super satisfying to solve, especially [REDACTED — nice try!].

Resurrection puts you at the center of a horror movie in the best way! I felt like the Scooby Gang from Buffy, but if it were exclusively made up of Cordelia, Xander, and pre-witch Willow. (i.e. We were quite goofy, but got through it!) There are a few puzzles that'll tickle your brain, but your nerves are what's being tested here more than anything else. There are several moments where you know what you have to do, you just need to summon the courage to do it! (There are also some genuinely funny moments, which help cut down the terror a little bit for the faint-hearted in your group.) If you like haunted house mazes like at Halloween Horror Nights, this is like one of those but personalized to your group!

Game masters perform double-duty, not only running the games and keeping track of time but acting in a defined, interesting role. I found myself cracking a smile every time they came on the loudspeaker.

Talk around town is that Warlocked is the best one, so I anxiously await my D&D group's mutual availability (good luck there, amirite?), though I will definitely miss this particular staff when I head to the other escape rooms to complete my stamp booklet!

I’ve done over 130 escape rooms and I have to say Quest Rooms is absolutely in my top 3! I’ve done several of their rooms (Bloody Elbow, Red Giant, Perfumier, Resurrection, and Warlocked) and every location has been an amazing experience. Their rooms have great production, excellent GMs, and really unique puzzles.

We had the pleasure of having Sam as our GM twice at the Redondo Beach location. He’s hands down one of the best GMs we’ve ever had!

Definitely recommend going to each location and trying all their rooms! If you go on a weekday you can spin their wheel for a discount!
