We stayed at Rumourz over the July 4th holiday. We enjoyed our stay as the motel it is within walking distance of downtown and the lake. Our room was clean, the bathrooms were updated and nice, the soap was bath and body works. The bed was very comfortable and the Manager Sydney was very pleasant. Our only complaint would be the rooms were humid, our towels did not dry overnight and our clothes had a dampness to them. I am not sure why as the air-conditioning was working. So hopefully that situation can be fixed. We had six rooms and they all had this issue. We will stay again if that is resolved. Thank you for having us.

We were so happy to find this little hotel in a what seems to be a nice neighbourhood of Clear Lake. ||It has been recently renovated and so everything was new and fresh.||It is very well maintained and the grounds are clean and well kept. We were welcomed at reception by a very friendly and chatty lady who was also helpful in suggesting other places on our road trip to visit. ||Our rooms well very cute, clean and cozy. They had really nice soaps and shampoos as well. ||Loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes cute, cozy , clean and quiet at a very reasonable cost.

On our way from MN to CO we stayed at Rumorz in Clear Lake, IA. Motels are not usually our thing, but we really like to support local businesses, so decided to give it a shot. The lobby is open until 10 pm. We were on track to arrive before then, but due to bad weather were delayed 30 min. The manager stayed late and waited for us to arrive. She called the next day and offered to ship a forgotten item to us. Excellent customer service. The rooms are totally remodeled, attractive and comfortable. Clear Lake is beautiful-- I would give this two thumbs up 🙂

My husband and I stayed here on the 9th of April. We travel every weekend, stay in many motels/hotels across many states. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE; your room is high end gorgeous; from floor, decor, bed, shower, towels, coffee, to shampoo and conditioner it has a taste of class. DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE! You will love the wonderful lady at the front desk! Love her Dearly! Thank You Rumorz!!!

Incredible place for a great price! From the outside you wouldn't think it's a nice room, but the bathroom was completely updated and brand new, plus the soap and shampoo are from bath and body works. Also free coffee in your room. I will definitely stay again! Loved it!

Nice clean reasonably priced mom and pop type motel. Front desk woman was friendly and helpful. Motel seems to be taking COVID precautions seriously. My only complaint was the spotty internet service which, to be fair, we were given a heads up about at check in. Overall a pleasant stay.
