I was surprised at the prices. The food was good and the prices were reasonable, very reasonable. I would definitely go back there. It's like a bar restaurant and found it because it was close to where we were staying. We got in town late. I only took a few photos of the inside to post. Definitely recommend.

This is a place that you wouldn't know is there, but when you go once you will be a regular!! The food is amazing and the service is great. My kids love the food and playing pool it is there favorite restaurant and I love it because it doesn't break the budget when they want to go out to eat.

The Night at Scooter’s

The sun was setting over Hobe Sound, casting a warm, golden hue across the town. As the evening light began to fade, locals started making their way to Scooter’s, the cozy bar that sat unassumingly at the edge of town. Scooter’s wasn’t just a bar; it was a gathering place where stories were told, friendships were forged, and everyone felt at home.

We pushed open the heavy wooden door and stepped inside, greeted by the familiar scent of old wood and the faint hum of laughter. The dim lighting and eclectic decorations made the place feel like a time capsule, a blend of past and present. We made our way to the bar, nodding at familiar faces along the way.

“Hey, Don!” called out , the bartender, as she wiped down the counter. “Usual?”

“You know it,” Don replied with a grin. He settled onto a stool and watched as she expertly poured his drink. It was moments like these that made Scooter’s special. No matter how the day had gone, stepping into the bar felt like stepping into a hug.

As the evening wore on, more people trickled in. There was David, the local fisherman, who always had a story about the one that got away. Linda, the librarian, who could debate any topic under the sun with surprising fervor. And old Mr. Jon, who had been coming to Scooter’s since it first opened its doors.

The jukebox in the corner kicked to life, playing a mix of classic rock and country tunes that perfectly matched the bar’s vibe. We looked around, feeling a sense of contentment wash over him. Here, in this small town bar, everyone was someone. Titles and status melted away, leaving only good company and shared experiences.

A couple of hours later, Scooter’s was buzzing with energy. The pool table was in constant use, and a lively game of darts was underway. Laughter echoed off the walls, mingling with the music and creating a soundtrack that was both comforting and invigorating.

I found Myself in a deep conversation with Jon about the best fishing spots around Hobe Sound. It wasn’t a new conversation, but it didn’t need to be. The charm of Scooter’s was in the repetition, the reliable comfort of familiar faces and familiar stories.

As the night wore on, We knew he’d remember this evening like so many others before it. Not because anything extraordinary had happened, but because of the simple, enduring charm of Scooter’s. It was a place where the community came together, where time seemed to stand still, and where everyone knew they belonged.

And as he walked home under the clear, starry​ night.

The waitress was great, wonderful service. Fun local place/atmosphere. Had a cup of chicken noodle soup & a turkey sandwich on rye. Priced well & good sized.

We were in there Saturday night. It was very busy and very loud. But as far as their food goes I thought it was very good very reasonable and pricing. Unlike many restaurants today in Hobe Sound and Jupiter. Where can you get a good hamburger with French fries for $8.99? Very filling. The wife got a vegetarian fajita. However the girl forgot to bring the flour tortillas. Very hard to track her down as I said very busy so therefore the service was not the best. With that said I will still go in there I'll just make sure I get a different server.

I attend this dining location often as other friends enjoy going there. The atmosphere once walking in is very 'rustic' or reminiscent of a 'dive bar' setting as there's bar sitting centered in the central location of the place; the music playing in the background is typically some type of country.

The food is well prepared and catered to a 'homey' type of feel; there's usually some type of 'special' of the day/week that is suggested and affordable. All the food that comes out is delicious as well as fairly priced.

The staff are very attentive, alert, friendly, and memorable. *(Our Waitress has usually been 'Amanda' and she's been wonderful every time I attend.)

Would recommend to others in the area.

Scooter's?is like a second home? Food is always excellent for a sports bar. Staff is amazing and friendly. The customers are like good friends and family. If you don't enjoy this place we won't miss you ?

This place is what a Florida dive bar should be.
Non descript and hidden away in the corner of a strip mall.
Literally hidden, if it weren't for the sign on the face of the building you would never know it was there.
My kinda place. Now in my hey day this would be the place I could sit down and put in a "shift" at the bar, day drinking and enjoying the games and atmosphere of what appeared to be mostly locals. Don't let that fool you, though. Everyone was friendly and inviting the service was attentive but not annoying. The food was great and reasonably priced.
When in Hobe Sound I suggest giving them a look...we might just run into each other because I know I will be back.
You will not be disappointed, and if you are...well you are just an old fuddy duddy...
