I have always wanted to go horseback riding ever since I missed an opportunity when I was little. We stumbled upon this place when realizing that the stable we originally intended to go to needed reservations and could not be reached. We called Seaton Hackney and they picked up immediately and got us set up with a reservation quickly 🙂

There is a pretty decent parking lot when you arrive and some ponies that are happy to greet you! You enter through a door near the middle of the building and enter the office. We did all of our paperwork online and showed up early just in case. We got to explore the grounds a bit and pick out helmets as we waited for our guide and were delighted to see horses, goats and donkeys. All of the animals were friendly.

None of us had ever ridden horses before but Ania was a wonderful guide! Her instructions were clear and it was very easy to learn how to guide the horse and have them walk along the trail.

I must admit I was a bit afraid when I saw how tall my horse was! However Kevin was a very well mannered horse and made the ride fun and pleasant!

Will definitely come back in the future for more riding! Maybe even some lessons 🙂

Of all things I’m grateful for Seaton Hackney for, it’s my instructor, Hailey. I have been riding for over 19 years, and I can say without a doubt that Hailey is the best instructor I have ever had. Under her guidance, I have gained more confidence in myself as a rider than I ever thought possible. Hailey prioritizes safety and comfort at all times, ensuring that her students not only feel secure but also learn the skills necessary to keep themselves safe through proper horsemanship and riding position.

One of the things that truly sets Hailey apart is the way she connects with her students. She shares relevant stories and personal experiences that make her instruction feel relatable and approachable. Because of this, I have built a connection with her that I have never had with another instructor, and I feel fully supported in my riding journey. She explains the why behind her corrections, breaking things down in a clear, kind, and constructive way that makes it easy to understand and apply.

Perhaps the most invaluable part of my experience with Hailey is the way she helps me work through challenges. When I get in my own head, psych myself out, or if a horse acts up, she takes the time to work through the moment with me, ensuring I always end my lesson on a positive note. That level of care and encouragement has not only transformed my riding but has also had a profound impact on my confidence outside the barn.

I am endlessly grateful for Hailey and the way she has helped me grow as both a rider and a person. If you’re looking for an instructor who is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and truly invested in your success, look no further. Hailey is absolutely incredible!

We had a birthday party for my 6 year old daughter: to say it was seamless is to say the least. The staff was a 10/10. I can't compliment enough how great of a staff they have. They were so helpful, kind, patient. Everyone enjoyed the party soooo much!!! The horses were well maintained as well. I have to say that everyone was so happy and treated so well. There's nothing I could even say that you could improve because our experience was an 11/10.

What a wonderful experience!! We looked for a stable that was able to accommodate larger riders and found this gem. They have capacity of up to 300lb for trail riding, which is awesome. Aside from that, the client service and interaction is excellent. They listen to your wishes and are extremely accommodating with their riders. My niece was a bit afraid of using an English saddle and the guide walked by her side the ENTIRE trail. They do have western and English saddles but this horse was in particular had an English saddle that day. Not only did she get to experience the new saddle style but also gained a ton of confidence in herself. The guide calmly dealt with her fears, assured her she could do it and gave her sound instruction. I’ve been to a number of stables, trail rides and lessons and this guide was spectacular. They clearly care about who represents them and place the comfort of the client as well as the ability of their horses first on their list. All the horses were well-mannered and gladly took the treats the guide allowed us to feed to them after their ride. This made our day so enjoyable!! We will be back for more riding in the near future. Thank you for all you do!!

We recently celebrated our 7yr old son's birthday at Seaton Hackney Stables and what an experience it was for both the kids and parents. Around 26 kids and their parents joined us with the celebration. There were different activities like Horse & Pony rides, Pony pulled carraige rides and Roller Coaster Hayride. Kids had a really great time.
From Birthday event management team, Wendy helped with bookings and answering all our questions in regards to event preps. On the day of the event, Raven & her staff took over all the work and running around one can think of you have to do during a birthday party with so many kids & parents. You guys are just awesome and Thank you for making our Son's birthday a memorable one!

Our instructor Cameron was super amazing and calming even when I wasn’t.😂She was very knowledgeable and confident which made it a smooth ride. The horses were so calm and sweet! What a terrific place to spend my daughter Lyric 12th birthday!🥰I can go on and on about our experience but I’ll let the pictures speak for us!

I had the pleasure of working with Jessica Slider at Seaton Hackney Stables, and I can't speak highly enough of her. Jessica was incredibly patient and made sure both my daughter and I felt completely comfortable with the horses, Cookie and Jennifer, before we even started riding. Her attention to detail and care really stood out.

What made the experience even more memorable was Jessica’s willingness to share her extensive knowledge about the stable, the breeds of the horses, and their historical origins. It added a wonderful educational layer to our time there, making it both enjoyable and informative.

I highly recommend Jessica and Seaton Hackney Stables for anyone looking to have a fantastic and enriching equestrian experience.

Great place to learn how to ride a horse and just enjoy the cool any of others riding. Enjoyed my time riding a few horses and getting to know them and be around such an amazing creature of its size and power. Deli across the street if you’re wanting to grab a quick bit then head off and enjoy your horseback riding with family or friends! Will be returning in the summer when I can enjoy it with my husband.
