There is a paved walking path through the park and along the cemetery. There is a pond and pavilion with picnic tables. Their website says the park is open April 1- October 31. Not sure how they close it because it's all a big open area. Just across the street is a Dollar General. Seems like it might be closed to cars, but people could walk in anytime.

For a small town this park is phenomenal. The ball diamonds are in great shape. It has a lovely walking path. The pavilions make for a great gathering spot. Quality playground. They have Tennis, pickle ball, and basketball courts as well. The skateboard park is why I came. I hope the current generation of boarders appreciate this. When I was younger St. Louis the nearest public park that allowed Skateboarding. Such a luxury to have and not be chased off like a criminal looking for a place to shred. Smithton nailed this one and you'd be smart to stop by sometime and enjoy some small town vibes in a delightful setting.

A nice small park for local residents.  Three baseball diamonds, a lake, skatepark, tennis court, basketball court, pavilions & picnic areas.  Also, a nice walking trail.

Nice small town park with a mile long walking trail, a good amount of shade and a small lake as well. Lots of seesaws for the kids and plenty of benches to rest on.

I visited this park for the first time yesterday. This is such a lovely and attractive park. I was there for my little nephews bday party and they had a blast on the slides and swings. They had plenty of room to run around and have fun. The pond is real nice, people were fishing. Its just a lovely place and it felt safe.

My favorite place when I'm not at home..its not only beautiful, it's peaceful.. fun can be found here by all family memebers.. from 3 playgrounds to fishing... beautiful walking trail ,with benches along the way. Very well kept.. my home away from home.

I grew up playing at this park starting back in 1987! Has always been very clean and well maintained, quiet and safe and has the playground to play on, multiple swing sets to swing on, hockey court, tennis court, volleyball court complete with sand, baseball diamonds, walking trails and a little creek that has (or had bc it’s been a bit since I’ve been there) a rope swing tied to a tree to swing back and forth to each side of the creek too.
