A quick free experience to say you drove on a historical road, which is one of the crookedest roads similar to those in San Francisco. It is also very pretty but somewhat scary to start driving on.

Very interesting place with modern and historical intrigue. We went after a good snowstorm so we had to walk the church stairs but it was still pretty cool!

A must stop destination if you are in the area. A neat place to walk up and down or drive down with your vehicle. Exceptionally pretty in the spring time with all the trees in bloom. Could be tricky in the winter months. It's a little intimidating going down in a sedan but just take it slow. A unique destination!

Featured in Ripley's Believe it or Not, it's called the ceookedest street, and yes, you can drive down it (usually). We have driven our 15-passenger Transit van down it many times. Some driving skill and extrmely slow speeds are required to make the sharp and constant 180° turns over the cobblestone street. It's much easier in a smaller vehicle! It's free -- it's a public street, a One Way street (down hill only).

Walking Snake Alley and thinking about what was involved creating it logistically, and all those years ago? Caused an even greater appreciation for it. It's so intricate and the wear on the bricks, how they are laid out, is certainly worth seeing if you're ever in this old Brew town. The architecture surrounding can be appreciated as well.

It was an incredible place to look at and walk down. The thought of actual vehicles driving on it is nearly unimaginable and yet they did and still can apparently with special permission. I have no idea why it was created as it is but what a wonderful piece of history.
