If you’re looking for the perfect wedding venue, look no further than Soiree! From start to finish, our experience was absolutely flawless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our big day.

The owner, Jan, is truly an angel. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and her dedication to her clients is unmatched. From helping us coordinate the DJ to serving drinks, she was hands-on in the best way possible, making sure everything ran smoothly. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares as much as she does, and we are so grateful for her kindness and hard work.

The venue itself is beautifully maintained and had everything we needed to create the perfect atmosphere. The space was elegant, well-equipped, and flexible enough to accommodate all of our needs. Every detail, from the layout to the ambiance, contributed to an unforgettable experience for us and our guests.

Thanks to Soiree and Jan’s incredible support, our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. If you’re searching for a venue that offers not just a beautiful setting but also an owner who truly cares about making your event perfect, Soiree is the place to book. We can’t recommend it enough!

This past weekend, I had the pleasure to host my 61st Brewer~Lakes Family Reunion for family members from Louisville, Cleveland, Chicago and Atlanta at Soirée Venue and would love to give a huge shout out to Ms. Jan for making everything such a wonderful experience. Ms. Jan was such a pleasure to work with from day one to ensure we had everything we needed for our special day. My family is still over joyed and filled with all the love that was poured into making this day such a memorable occasion! Again, Thank you Soirée and Ms. Jan for having us. Sioree was a life saver for my wedding. Me and my husband had a very little budget and very little time . We started planning only 2 months before our wedding and the owner was so accommodating and understanding . She worked with us on everything, helped us with tablecloths and tables so we didn't have to buy those. She has a full kitchen we were able to use and tended the bar for us as well.
110/10 ! Couldn't have done it without her . She is amazing! If you are looking for a very friendly, homely, romantic environment for your wedding , this is the place !

I have been meaning to write this post since May! In May 2023, we had our wedding reception here with about 120 people. Jan was extremely flexible, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Hosting a wedding reception for so many people can really be stressful, but I felt confident in the venue we chose. I can not thank Jan enough! Also, the pricing here is very fair and you can bring outside alcohol and food! 10/10 recommend having your reception here! Thanks again, Jan!

We were looking for a place to have a celebration of life ceremony for my father in law and after Googling event venues near me this was the one we felt right about choosing. Our instinct did not let us down. We called on Monday morning trying to have the ceremony on Saturday and was able to book that day due to a cancelation. We booked the place for a four hour block for 100 people. Jan was an absolute pleasure to work with having expressed genuine sorrow at the loss of my father in law. She even provided table cloths and center pieces for the tables along with helpful suggestions on how to set things up.The evening before our event, I started to count people and was projecting more than 100 people to show. I called Jan and she was glad to accommodate our 50 extra projected guests. We couldn't have found a more perfect place! We will be using Soiree again in the future!

Oldham County High School class of 1982 had our 40th reunion here! This place was amazing, the owner Jan was so sweet & accommodating, we absolutely had a blast. Their D.J. ht the mark with ALL the best dance songs from 1982....just an amazing night from start to finish...thank you Soiree!!!!

The place itself was decent, but could use a good cleaning in the kitchen area. The person in charge or owner or whomever she is by the name of Jan was horrible. She micromanaged anything we did. She let us in early for the event to set up. We couldn’t have a private conversation amongst ourselves without her ear hustling trying to hear everything we said. She also stayed there watching everything we did, but yet she said we had access to. It seemed to have been a problem for us asking for additional chairs. She kept asking us "well how many people are you having?" If we already had the space rented and didn’t go over the capacity, it shouldn’t have mattered. She also said that my 15 year old niece was in charge. That wasn’t even funny when I’m a grandmother of 6! That was an insult to my intelligence. When the event was nearing the time to be over, she came in and just started basically pushing us out because she had a prayer meeting to go to. Jan said that if we went an hour over, she wouldn't charge us. How could we go over when she was pushing us out? She kept saying, "I love when people clean up!" She also said to my brother, " a baby shower? I didn't know it was going to be studs here!" it didn't sit well with his significant other. He felt harassed. W e couldn't pop the balloons inside. She said you have to do it outside. At the end of the day, it would have been better if Jan wasn't on our backs and left us alone and kept her little smart/sarcastic remarks to herself.
