After speaking on the Play Hard, Love Big podcast, Nick invited me to come try out Spotted Dog yoga. While I had never practiced yoga before, the instructors made it easy to fit right in. I felt engaged and encouraged throughout each Power class, despite being so new to it. I felt like I was able to quickly learn because of the synergy of the group (fellow yogis and coaches) as a whole!

Now that I'm done with professional running, my plan is to continue coming to the Spotted Dog studio for the yoga...and for the nice people who go there!

I started the Awaken teacher training program in August. I have learned so much in a short period of time from this comprehensive course. The teachers are attentive and you get to learn hands on! Nick and Katie are true masters of what they do and how they deliver the information to the learner. Whether you want to take your own practice to the next level or become a teacher, I highly recommend Spotted Dog Yoga!

I just finished the AWAKEN teacher training 200 hour course a few days ago. It was a great experience that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Beyond becoming certified to teach yoga, I learned valuable life lessons that have made me a better person today. I got to visit this FUN and PLAYFUL yoga studio for the first time recently while driving through California. Both the owners were there, a kids yoga class was happening in their second studio space, lots of welcoming and friendly people, and such a colorful studio! They definitely know how to make the experience FUN. It was a great yoga class, hot and sweaty, and I left with some merchandise. Everyone seemed so connected and like one big family. Great vibes here. Can't wait to be back!

My wife and I have been going to Spotted Dog regularly since May, 2023. I would highly recommend Spotted Dog Yoga & SUP to anyone interested in beginning or extending their yoga practice. All of the teachers are great and very friendly. The studio is clean and provides an ideal environment for connecting within while shielding from all the distractions of the outside world. The benefits of practicing yoga on a regular basis are too many to list. What sets Spotted Dog apart from most other yoga studios is the sense of community they have created led by the owners Nick and Katie Clark.

There are other studios closer to my home and work but, I happily drive out of my way to go to yoga at this studio! The studio is clean, well-maintained, and includes showers. Classes are taught in the Baptiste style which is hot and well- rounded. Teachers offer ample opportunities to challenge oneself but, they are also forgiving and patient, reminding you to listen to your own body and do what is best for you on that day.
Plus, the owners love dogs! 😉
