BEWARE! This business is only good at taking your money. They took our down payment on Jan. 27th, but didn't hear from them until I continued to call on March 14th. Then got the run around for 3 1/2 more weeks. Finally got our granite installed on April 7th, to only be disappointed. M.I. has poor customer service. They are unprofessional. They do not return phone calls. They do inadequate/substandard/below par work. They did a lot of damage to our wall, flooring, and brick. On top of all that it was not even installed correctly! It is not level on one side because it wasn't cut enough to fit. It also has several gaps on the other sides where it was cut too much. They did not seal the granite in place either. We could have mice and insects come in the house through the gaps, plus the energy loss from heating and cooling. How am I suppose to pick that up to seal it? It probably weights 250-300 lbs, if not more. When I asked the owner to correct it, the owner refused to make it right. When I said I would stop payment on our check, he said he would press charges on me for criminal theft. Do not fall for their lies. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or do it yourself. Chances are you will do a better job than they ever could.
